actually im not - he deserves more credit than you give him, look back at the narutos birth chapters - worst case scenario he can use reaper death seal and both will die, so nagato cant win either way - no one can except for perhaps so6p if he has a way to overcome the reaper

I call it DRS because i cant be bothered writing the whole thing and i never said it was easy to escape i said it want impossible. And wasnt the question who would win? If Minato used DRS it would be a tie.
When I said you overrate him is because of FTG etc. Like you said his FTG's speed is too much for anyone but it too is not the perfect jutsu and would have a way through it especially with shared vision x6

Perhaps you're underestimating DRS.
The DRS is so powerful that it needs a god and a sacrifice to be performed, the greater the jutsu the higher the risk. Even the sot6p used the same jutsu to defeat the ten tails (although he refused to die after using the jutsu lol), nagato isn't above death he dies if minato gets a hold of him that is after using DRS but it'll lead to minato's death too.
So the worse minato could do against nagato is a stalement... though i doubt minato could get close to nagato that easily.

Nagato was able to keep up with KM Naruto who's claimed the position as the fastest ninja alive.
He can even summon his animals and see through their Rinnegans. Even without the Six Paths he still can have surround vision. He'd never be caught off guard
You need time to prepare the Death God Seal. You really think Nagato's gonna stand around and let him use it?

Bullshit. Itachi sealed Nagato with his Totsuka blade, just like anyone else. So deathseal would work normally as well, not that it would be needed, even.
Hiruzen had been stabbed and was weakened. Minato is too effin fast to get stabbed.

Minato was a genius, his combat abilities, decession making and attacks were never wasted, he probably was a more skilled fighter than Uchiha Itachi. Minato would win vs Nagato.
Just having the "Rinnengan" doesn't make you a legendary shinobi, so many have had the "Sharingan" yet only Madara Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha (with the help of Itachi and Madara) managed to master it to legendary level.

u know FTG doesn't need chakra cost that means he can escapes anytime he want to. asura path .. he even cracked to 1 hit blow SM Naruto. if the six paths was in one body , minato would win this in difficulty tough. but spamming rasengan will lacking nagato.. that for sure. because minato was a genius tactician. and would learn like itachi did. the secret of the six paths. if nagato did not summon his six paths(his on nagato himself) he has no shared vision. Deva path? shinra has interval . and minato could strike on 5 sec interval. he's a flee on sight ninja. blink of an eye means death. Minato simply the best ninja without KG and any power ups like jinchu had. he has pure talent and one of a kind. tough TOBI was able to match him.

Exactly, I am not even a Minato fan and he isn't even in my favourite top 10 but facts are facts. Minato had no special "god mode" powers, all he had was intelligence, skill and experience. There was this scene were you could see his his ratings in that "skill" pentagon that determines the users power based on ninjutsu, tajutsu etc and he had them all maxed out.
Nagato has never outsmarted his opponents, he has always outpowered them when possible. Nagato was defeated two times, both by Naruto and Itachi. Was Minato ever defeated? Nope, not even by Madara Uchiha.

Nagato has been beaten twice, but if this is your basis for your argument then i might aswell forget this discussion. Against naruto everything was against him and yet he still captured naruto. Even when naruto went fox mode he still caught him in chibaku tensei.
Against itachi, again everything was aginst him. He was fighting 3 extremely powerful shinobi's and its due to naruto's and bee's distraction that allowed itachi to seal him.
Power doesnt atumatically decide a fight, but nagato's power is something else. Also as weve seen from minato's techniques there is nothing he can do to beat him. Nagato on the otherhand has loads of moves to beat him
