You act like preta path somehow has the power to stop a shockwave capable of leveling mountains.

All madara has to do is bring down his sword, PS activating is nearly instant, & on top of that madara has precognition. Why would madara let nagato even get close enough to absorb susanoo in the first place?

A shockwave isn't doing shit when Nagato can absorb it, i'm pretty sure the shockwave is made of chakra. If he decides to shoot arrows at him they get absorbed too.

As I previously said the shockwaves are large enough to take out multiple mountains with ease. It doesn't take time to swing his sword & considering the collateral damage that comes with the strike, nagato isn't evading even if he could predict it.

Anyway, the 5 Kage were about to get hit by PS when ET was released, which killed the PS. If whatever it uses to destroy mountains from a long distance was air pressure, the Gokage would be dead. Therefore, Nagato can absorb the perfect susanoo.

Can't Nagato summon the Gedo statue if worst comes to worse. Pretty sure the soul Dragon can't be defended against by Madara and PS just makes him an easy target.
