Yes he could the genjustu stops his body not his mind itachi and sasuke was under the same genjustu yet itachi was able to use tsykiyomi

But back then he used that to break the genjutsu. But then whats the point of genjutsu? It enters the opponent's mind and affects his / her 5 senses and makes the opponent hallucinate-kind of....look at naruto when Itachi used genjutsu on him when they met with kakashi chiyo sakura...etc.Naruto thought he was fighting Itachi but actually he was just standing...and when sasuke and Itachi fought Zetsu remarked that they were just standing in one place but it seemed as if they fought.

Maybe Kabuto is prepared for Sharingan Genjitsu but, in 1v1 without Edo's I can not see How Kabuto could counter all these paths.

Ok I just asked what if nagato gets captured in genjutsu and then Kabuto strikes immediately...but I think that in SM the genjutsu is far stronger. See Jiraiya's/Pa and Ma's genjutsu.

I don't know how to SM power up to Genjitsu, it's same genjitsu as you can see from what i posted. For Ma Pa, it's really powerful genjitsu,i think you can not compare them. + They used on Tendo Peins, which one is not get hurt. You they can not escape from it. I get what are you trying to say but it's not a simple like that. As we can see Nagato's reflexes are good, he caught Naruto and Bee same time and i believe KM Naruto's speed > SM Kabuto and Combination of Asura Path + Human patch is remarkable. Hozuki Clan powers can not helped in that condition due to Soul removal tech.

+Tayuya's Genjitsu is not like Itachi's, When she cast it, you can understand it's a genjitsu or not. It's why he can be escape from it. Not a tricky one

Yeah but itachi's genjustu>>>tayuya's her's is pretty good but people are still able to use techs in reality like shikamaru's shadow or itachi and sasuke dojustu genjustu so nagato using a dojustu tech should still happen in reality

Sennin mode strenghtens genjutsu,taijutsu and ninjutsu as well. Thye'll have a stronger effect making it harder to escape.
