Itachi will have advantage over nagato on genjutsu as we have seen that they can be pulled into genjutsu when he fought jiraya. it can be a tie but i think nagato will have a upper hand in battle. but since we have not seen the full potential of itachi, nothin can be decided.

we actually havent seen full potential of either. but as for now rinnegan>sharingan so i say nagato
