In where was he a b*tch to regular genjutsu in any form or situation? The only time he was affected by ANY form of genjutsu was by Pa and Ma's Sage genjutsu that required an extensive amount of chakra and time to prepare.

Pa and Ma's frog song qualifies as a senjutsu, which has proven thus far to be superior to near any other form of power in its capability, Senjutsu genjutsu is not a regular genjutsu.
