Yes, by keeping his distance I mean he's not standing infront of them whilst forming CT. He had a little room inbetween Naruto, Bee and Itachi when he did it then.

he would end it though, remember the deva path used several earth techs, including the pop up out the ground like a mole tech, and he formed solid rock around him like a shield. once he throws that black sphere and goes underground plz tell me how Itachi can counter a mini moon forming and Nagato popping up launching missiles and laser cannon blast at him

Nagato has the ability to detect Amaterasu before it even appears. Nagato can use Shinra Tensei to block it or Preta Path to absorb it.

How's that going to help when he's got Gedo Mazo's dragon coming at him? There are just some things it can't help with, like how he need Naruto and Bee's help to break CT, by himself he could see through the technique but would still get crushed.

Hanzo escaped the ''Soul dragon'' so it's not impossible to avoid it. And Nagato loses heavy amount of chakra while he's synced with Gedo Mazo, so summoning it might be actually a mistake.

Also, we don't know Chikabu Tensei completely. Could it really destroy Itachi Susano'o? We know that it's not unbreakable as proven by Kyuubi and Itachi's Susano'o is yet to be broken. We can only speculate and make assumptions.

Body flicker, another name for it: Fast movement. And if you don't remember, Itachi is incredibly fast.

While Itachi is trapped in CT, his Susano'o keeps the rocks away from him and Itachi can use eg. Fire techniques to break the rock shield.

izanami can actually work on nagato. he had a god complex, he thought he was unbeatable with the rinnegan, he also had delusional thinking that destroying each country would lead to peace and izanami works best on people with flaws such as that. And for people claiming it takes time, obviously ppl dont start a fight with full power such as CT and if they do i can easily counter argue that itachi simply comes in and uses tsukiyomi(which is alot faster) and ends the match. contrary to popular belief i think itachi has slightly higher chance to win due to his legendary weapons and his genjutsu. his legendary weapons are resistant to preta so they are good tool to beat him with and his genjutsu is fast and effective

Itachi would not use Izanami on Nagato, that's not in his character

I think Nagato would start off on the offensive with a full-scale Shinra Tensei, especially when blood-lust

I would like point out it takes nagato time to actually connect to his gedo and even brings him a lot of pain. itachi can easily use that opportunity to stab him with the totsuka sword. gedo mazo is not that beneficial to nagato its the cause of his sickly state.
