Your forgetting something. The gokage are gonna be getting their Intel during the fight. Unlike jman they have the the advantage in numbers.
And jiraiya faced 3 pains at the same time in sm.
Yeah but Jiraya fought the six paths. Meaning each body could only utilize one feature of the Rinnegan - plus he didn't have to fight all 6 from the get go. And when he was confronted by all 6 he got wrecked pretty fast.
Nagato as a single unit can use all 6 paths making him a more formidable foe as he would be less predictable in his strategies.
And for the record - im in the camp of Nagato > gokage. Even with Intel I think the Kage don't have a chance against a healthy nagato.

That's true but since you're giving Nagato his paths as well that could be troublesome. Also you have to take into account NAruto words when he said Nagato paths are stronger when he's using them without Pein bodies and that he can use multiple paths at once. It might be too much. If it weere just 5 kage vs 6 paths of pein kage wins. Or if it was just 5 kage vs Nagato they definetly have a chance of winning but Nagato has numbers on his side.
Gokage. Extremely High difficulty. It's still 5 on one. The fact that they have no Intel doesn't mean they won't figure them out as the battle drags on but we would loose a few Kage in the processes. Shinra Tensei and Chibaku Tensei are the real dangers. Aye is fast enough to catch Nagato in the 5 second intervals. Tsunade can counter the Preta Path with taijutsu and take whatever damage that ensues from Nagato's counter attack with Buakugou.
Mei and Gaara will keep Nagato on his toes with long ranged and large scale attacks as well as keep the Kuchyose occupied.
But again we would loose half the Kage before they start figuring out how to beat Nagato. Really it could go either way. Just depends on how good of a strategist Nagato is.
Actually to think what they can do to Edo Madara alone(the legendary shinobi was lucky that he was an edo), they have a chance to win. Determination and spirit trump all.

If nagato uses his paths the kage would probably figure out how the rinnegan works much quicker. Also the greater power of nagato alone is due to the distance between himself and the paths. With the likes of gaara and mei, the gokage can retreat back and spam long range attacks while thinking of a strategy.

If it's 6 paths of pain then Gokage if it's Nagato then Nagato destroys
Gokage took on a Edo Madara with Rinnegon and wood style and did very well they killed him quite a few times really so a team with a speed freak , Jinton user, lava user, Near immortal, and sand hero could take him out
Alive and healthy Nagato blitzed the **** out of Naruto & Bee and caught the two in one
swoop alone. The same Naruto that proved his speed to A. The fact that he can restrain two
of the strongest jins at the same time already speaks volumes of what he's capable of.

Before even throwing his summons into the equation the Gokage would have a rough
time. The guy sucked up Bee's cloak and took his attack like nothing(durable), only to fuel himself
with the chakra.
So the count of characters that can actually do jack to him loses both: Raikage(

Meanwhile he has a leverage over the rest such as his ability to pull ranged fighters such as
Gaara closer to himself, or instead of physically damage someone that can just recover- take
their soul. Only troublesome person among them for Nagato I can think of is Mei, since she can
pose a threat to both his vision and has dangerous justu that I doubt he could absorb.
the only reason his puppets even managed to nearly overtake the village is because guy's squad wasn't even there. and honestly even thou nagato is superior to his puppet version, he's still just a one man show with no visual perception to handle high speed taijutsu foes AND at the sametime handle gaara's sand and onoki's particle, tsunade's fissure attacks. and before people go "oh but he grabbed KB and naruto" first off, naruto wasn't even in sage-mode to react and killer bee was in his base form when he tried to flank him. on top of the fact that the moment itachi got done fodder-izing the animal paths, he easily freed them both. so what's the chances that nagato is going to handle the ENTIRE gokage squad? lmao. what chibaku tensei? pfft please, saying that is like saying totsuka blade is instant win. it's not for the simple fact that the user has to first decide to even begin the fight with the jutsu which is very unlikely, assuming onoki's levitation jutsu doesn't help distance himself from the chibaku anyways.
