Uchiha probably have Sharingan because the blood thinned out as people kept having children with others decreasing the power of their dojutsu.

The uzumakis are related to the sage as well not to mention his mom and dad looked like they were both uchiha and uzumaki illusion or not i believe thats significant

No, the eyes were passed down to the Elder Son and his descendants, Nagato is not one of his descendants, so Nagato couldn't have been born with it.

And that myth is pointless to bring up now that we have the story of the Sage and his sons.

Madara gave Nagato his RINNEGAN not his SHARINGAN, and he probably did it the same way Itachi could give Sasuke his mangekyou by just looking at his eye and transferring the power from his own eyes to Sasuke's eyes (Remember when he put his Mangekyou's Amaterasu power in Sasuke's eyes and it burned Tobi?). Madara probably did the same thing to Nagato, and he gave his Rinnegan not his sharingan, so Madara would still have his sharingan. Madara has the ability to turn ON his rinnegan just like he can turn on his sharingan, Mangekyou sharingan and Eternal Mangekyou sharingan. I think he could transfer the rinnegan power so that he would no longer be able to turn on the Rinnegan in his eyes and use its power, but Nagato could.

But I hope Nagato's Rinnegan evolved naturally. The Sharingan gets way too much attention already...how about preserving some of the mysteries regarding the Rinnegan?

Yes, i hope it will be like this, rinnegan is the most powerful eye dojutsu there is and has lot's of abilities we don't know about.

because Madara unlocked the rinnegan shortly before his death and Nagato had the rinnegan years before Madara met Obito

Your basically saying Madara gave Nagato the rinnegan before Madara unlocked it which i shouldn't need to point out is impossible

Uchiha was born with the eyes but that doesn't mean they are the only ones who can get the rinnegan. Otherwise So6P splitting his powers would be a complete waste if only one of them can achieve SO6P's status.

Care to back up anything you just stated? like for starters, how you know Nagato is only 4 years older then Obito, when nagato is older then minato and obito is alot younger then minato! and how do you know they gave nagato his eyes?

Itachi's eyes are not implanted as so the chakra tax from his eyes are less than what Nagato experienced. Itachi never turned his Mangekyou off? What manga have you been reading?
