Nagato is in the top 10 for sure, but top 5 is questionable.

Hashirama/Madara are on a level of their own Nagato/Minato/Itachi cannot beat them, people need to quit these pointless debate esepcially with Nagato beating Hashirama. I mean people assume Madara can beat Nagato, but Nagato can beat Hashirama. Hashirama who beat Madara in his prime. Madara with the Rinnegan, EMS, 1st DNA, and Edo stated that only Hashirama can beat him. But yet the fanboys think Nagato stands a chance VS Hashirama.

As far as Karuma goes, from what we seen Nagato barely held his own against not even half of Karuma and he was also surprised at the strength of Karuma yet alone standing a chance against the full one. Madara made Karuma his bitch with EMS, in a battle to death VS Madara and Karuma the 1st took it out of Madara hand and sealed it.

I can't say what the outcome of Nagato VS Full Karuma would be, but judging from the manga, it doesn't seem he'd win, but not ruling it out.

You also forget about that Hashi can create clones that have all the abilities that he has. Basic Mokuton, flowering tree world, and great physical strength, times 25

If Nagato gets a hit in then Hashi heals. Nagato doesn't stand a chance

wrong. nagato was sealed and dead. he said that no one is equal to hashirama in the current world. so dead shinobis werent being taken into account. also a third party saying a character is stronger than another doesnt mean they are completely correct and all knowing about all of those character's secres.

8 tails Naruto easily broke out of that CT. You don't know how large Nagato himself could make a CT.

the one deva made was called small by nagato. he explicitly said he will make it larger to pin kyuubi. but he didnt have to as naruto went back to normal

I didn't say Hashi wins because he could tame Karuma. They spoke about Nagato taking on full Karuma I responded by saying he couldn't even capture half Karuma. Nagato has Gedo and Rinnegan I'm sure he can tame Karuma with those.

I don't think Yamato can tame tailed beast, but he had something, which Kakashi and Jiraya also had if I'm not wrong to suppress Karuma.
