Well look at the amount of people that Nagato brought back to life. That, coupled with the already low chakra levels he had at the time makes me see no reason why he wouldn't die. I think it would bare no risk to their lives if someone was to revive only one person using the Rinne Tensei whilst they had a reasonable amount of chakra left. Only thing contradicting this theory is Obito's recent claim "you want me to throw away my life using the Rinne Tensei". I agree with you, I think if it does kill Obito. It is due to a possibility of few things. 1. He has been fighting non-stop for how many chapters now lol? I am sure he has about exhausted all his chakra aswell. 2. He has only 1 rinnegan. 3. The extent of time that has lapses since the person died.

Maybe he just knows at his current level of chakra, think about how long he has been fighting straight without rest. To use Rinne Tensei will cost him the remainder of his chakra. Or because he only has one eye?

It could very well be. I just don't think the use of Rinne Tensei alone will kill you. There are stipulations that surround the current use of it.

Well, bro show me manga proof that states clearly that you die from the use of Rinne Tensei, cause for Nagato his death was caused by low chakra. For Obito his "sacrifice" may be caused by something else. But until I see it say that the death is caused because Rinne Tensei itself kills the user, I will stick to the current given fact which is Konan stating that Nagato will die if he uses it with that little chakra.

I agree... It is mere speculation. Nagato mentioned how he only had the chakra for those recently deceased...it mostly describes his chakra level at the time as well as help the whole dramatic spot of how he is going to die to atone for his actions....but could also be derived to hint that he doesn't have the chakra to currently bring back Nagato.

I don't understand why you value more Konan's info on the technique than Obito's and Madara's.

Have you thought of the possibility that Nagato told Konan that the technique did not kill, as long as you had chakra, in order so that she would accept him reviving Madara? Otherwise Nagato would have brought back Yahiko no?

Also the chakra depletion is not a valid argument for Obito right now.

Obito is connected to the largest pool of chakra conceivable in Narutoverse. Chakra depletion must not be in his list of threats and troubles.

Nagato could only revive the recently deceased, while Obito could revive someone who died a long time ago being ancient. It seems that Obito doesn't only want to revive the long dead Madara but let him being revived in a young state, maybe by giving him even his own body.
