Healthy Nagato WOULD be on the same lvl as Hashirama. Unhealthy nagato would just be below Hashirama's overall.

The 1st has the least chance of winning, fighting a rinnegun is completely different then fighting a sharingan.

Nagato has 8 summons, so 9 feilds of vision which makes a counter attack or catching him off almost impossible which we've seen. Any wood style may be absorbed just like J man's oil an fire attack which was completely absorbed(not a fact). THe forest an pollen attack is useless because not only can nagato fly just deva path but he can also fly o his bird summon who drops bombs. With the universal pull he can pull the fist to him an use the human path to take his soul. Not to metion the 1st doesnt know the rinneguns powers he'll most likely try taijutsu which with the human path gives nagato a super advantage cause he can take his soul with one touch. The may have know ansewer for planetary devastation but his wood may break it but i dout it. Bring of darkness wont work since nagato is a sensor type or he could just use his rain jutsu aswell. The 1st doesnt really have a way to win.

Edo madara has a chance but madara ems with 9 tails will lose. ( tails will do nothing but feed nagato's power jus like 9 tails chakra mode, An ems madara just cant win. Nagato conters his fire style, an suasnoo. Both are chakra based jutsu's an will be absorb(including anything that suasnoo does). An the dog summon will keep 9 tails busy cause it'll just keep multipling an even the TBB wont hit them all if they simple spread out. An like the 1st taijutsu is useless, ninjutsu is useless, genjutsu highly unlikely an over all madara bad temper an cockiness will be his down fall.

In short nagato has the upper hand on both. Now if were talkin edo madara just let me know an ill explain that fight as well.

You only rely on Nagatos Ninjutsu spam and believe that Hashirama would just endure it. I can list hashirama's technoques, and list nagato's counters to them
Yet if I list Nagato's techniques, hashirama has nothing to survive many of them

Im not tryna be rude but what the **** does that have to do with what i just said?lmao

Madara may have said that but my point is he only know the 1st as being strong. He's never met nagato(a waaaaaaaaaay more expeirenced rinnegan user than madara) or even heard of him. Or even itachi, not to say itachi would beat madara although i wouldnt be surpised if he did.

It is impossible due to fact that we dont know what hes techs are we have seen only few of what he could do, however he knows a lot of forbidden techs so there very well might be a counter to everything nagato throws..
Untill kishi actually shows the fight between Hashi x EMS Madara we will never know hes true power, besaids I think he did use hes Forbidden Tech scroll vs madara since I cant see how he can beat him with what we have seen so far >_>
