Nagato can easily break Tsukuyomi

In the Itachi vs Nagato threads I've seen to many fanboys mistakenly claim that Itachi could one shot Nagato with Tsukuyomi. The reasons why this would fail is because

Nagato is a sensor ninja: It has been noted that sensor ninja have the ability to sense changes in ones chakra and the chakra around them. This would alert him to being in genjustu and he could disrupt his chakra and break it.

proof that Nagato is a sensor ninja from Narutopedia:

The Rinnegan bestows him with enhanced vision, allowing him to see the chakra of barrier techniques around the perimeter of his location, and the chakra gathered at a shinobi's feet

The Rinnegan is an evolved sharigan: it is well known that the sharigan evolves into the rinnegan with the right conditions. If a normal 3 tomoe sharigan can break "the all powerful" Tsukuyomi then the rinnegan can as well. The rinnegan has shown to counter all other MS techniques so Tsukuyomi is no problem.

So with this it is clear that Nagato>>>Itachi, and itachi stands no chance U_U

All i can say is this it would not one shot Nagato because he can sense it before its active he cleary can sense Sharringan techniques as their eyes are trickling blood shown here

nor would it a viable option if Nagato simply closes his eyes and uses his summons to see for him as he is a great chakra sensor shown here so even without the summons he could fight without his eyes closed

Sasuke used tsukuyomi on Bee and yet he broke out of it.Sasuke has tsukuyomi because he needs to have tsukuyomi+Amatseru to unlock susanoo as stated by the official handbook.There obviously are exceptions to the rule and i dont believe Itachi has ever fought a Rinnegan user nor a Tailed Beast Host so this can be classifyed as biast from Itachis view.
Itachi fanboys rely on this because they have nothing else they know Nagato is far beyond him

In Conclusion What Itachi said was from a biast point of view example the same when Nagato called himself a God or when Madara said his susuanoo can break creation.There are clearly are instances when tsukuyomi as a technique can be broken and conisdering Nagato has a superior Dojutsu,his own Genjutsu,Paths within his body constantly disturbing his chakra he has a chance

I agree but please stop saying the rinnegan evolved from the sharingan, it has never been stated, madara just awakened it, we don't know how.


Another thinga tactically skilled shinobi can fight someone with the skill to use tsukyomi.

This right here, the OP assumes the rinnengan is a evolved form of the sharigan which has not been clarified in the manga yet...

What has been clarified in the manga is that picture of course.

He should be able to counter tsukuyomi by just using his summons to watch. The sensor thing is irrelevent, anyone could tell if they are in a tsukuyomi, the thing is breaking out of it which is really tough. I feel like he should be able to cuz rinnegan after all is an evolution of sharingan.

This fight would be so epic and itachi fans should stop saying itachi can one stop nagato with tsukuyomi. Only a low class ninja would fall for that, I bet that's what you al thought he was going to do to kabuto didn't you. A top class shinobi will have different ways to counter such like a sharingan genjutsu. Gai's way is too not look into their eyes (caption obvious much)

I'm sure Itachi has never faced and actually placed a Rinnegan user under his Tsukuyomi. He "could" have placed Nagato, but we never saw it in the manga.

But the Rinnegan is stronger than the Sharingan. I say he can break Tsukuyomi.

Killer bee is a jinchuriki, anyone could break someone else out of a tsukuyomi. Another thing is sasukes tsukuyomi sucked and was ridiculously weak. So bad example there.

With the superior powers of the rinnegan, though, i dont see any reason why a rinnegan user cant break out. I know that part of the reason sasuke got out of the tsukuyomi is because they're brothers or something, but he was still only 3 tomoe.

Itachi even specified it for us he said MY Tsukuyomi can only be broken by a clansmen he didn't say anything about Sasuke's tsukuyomi or others
