So the problem with amaterasu is that it was never shown to be absorbed (except by w/e madara done which we dont know for sure)
Nagato used ST.
Black rods were used in conjunction with small ST release(it seems), doesnt seems to be absorbed.
Obito knowing all rikudou's jutsus choose to negate it with malleable chakra and not absorb it.

Oh and even from juubi was expected more.

Kishi seems to hint that it cant be absorbed imho.

and yes madara did say he couldn't use preta because of his susano...but the way that guys is interpreting it is way off, by madara being inside his susano and trying use preta would mean he would absorb his susano..it common sense, he's basically saying that if I didn't have this susano up I could use preta..that guy has just misunderstood and upon his so called re-reading he was hoping to find the slightest glimmer of hope that amaterasu was immune to preta but again he failed at proving it because I proved it can be absorbed

Amateratsu burns into your skin + body and that's the same thing absorption does. So touching it and draining or absorbing it into you would hurt you.

I don't see what that arrow has to do with anything seeing how Preta Path wasn't used against it.
Nagato can sense Amaterasu coming. So as soon as it erupts, he knows exactly what to do. Amaterasu burns very slowly. It can be absorbed.

amaterasu is ninjutsu...preta absorbs ninjutsu...common sense


nagato at first couldn't absorb sage chakra when he went up against jiraya but when he faced naruto later he was able to absorb it, nagato can absorb all forms of chakra chakra is used for ninjutsu(amaterasu)...this shit is so ridiculous that we are actually debating a absorbing jutsu cant absorb a ninjutsu...wtf

Possibly , but he could also absorb too much Amateratsu and hurt or burn himself from it.
He's still not immune to it , but jutsu can defend against other jutsu .

Shinra Tensei practically makes him immune to it. Only reason Itachi even hit him was because Nagato wasn't expecting it as he believed Itachi to be on his side. U_U

Not that jutsu. If Nagato / Itachi were only able to use Shinra Tensei and Amateratsu
then after the first Shinra Tensei he would have to wait 5 seconds to use it again...
meanwhile Itachi would engulf him in Amateratsu .

Amaterasu is stronger than all the paths except for deva which can repel Amaterasu.

However, with interval and a second Amaterasu....Nagato has five seconds of rolling around in black flames.

I don't think he can preta Amaterasu, otherwise he would of done that to rejuvenate himself instead of bee's lariat and

Naruto's rasengan.

preta path can absorb amaterasu easily, amaterasu chakra is wont to crap to regen nagato thats why he absorbed bee's version 2 chakra

Wrong! As we can see on the Image!, Nagato's eyes turned darkgrey, that was the moment when kabuto decided to control nagato himself, the rest of the time nagato was in Auto.

Auto Edooes anything in their power to counter and attack.

Nagato's eyes turn darkgrey after he counter amataresu with shinra Tensei if he could really absorb it, he would have done it, since he was in AUTO.
