Looks: Mystogan’s face looks exactly like Jellal Fernandes and therefore has dark eyes, blue hair and a tatoo on his right eye. Mystogan wears a black cloak and his entire body is mostly covered in bandages.
He used to wear a Mask and head protector to avoid detection, he has now gotten rid of them and wears nothing around his head or Face.
Personality: Many of the Guild members question who he really is as he is too mysterious. Wendy at one point stated that he is a very kind person. Makarov states that Mystogan doesn't talk much. Despite his reclusiveness, Mystogan is extremely loyal to the Guild, and will go at any length to protect it.

Background Info.
History: Mystogan was born in the land of fire. However, he was part of an unknown Clan, some of the most skilled fighters users in all of the land. And his mother and father knew he was the child prodigy of the clan born only every generation or two. At the age of two him, and his parents were attacked in their very own home, by a fellow clan member who had also noticed who Mystogan was. The ninja killed his parent's, their parent's had hid Mystogan in the closet, but the ninja found him.
Mystogan knew what just happened, filled with anger. As soon as that closet door was opened Mystogan unintentionally set the ninja under a very powerful demon genjutsu. Which killed the ninja in under a minute, after terrifying him to death. He was left in that house for a whole day before report's were made and people came to help. He was adopted by a rogue named Pantherlily pretending to be a part of the clan.
The rogue snuck Mystogan out of the small village, and into a different part of the land. This is when Mystogan met Wendy. She was A small, young girl from the Land of Amegakure. It was weird yes, because they were in the land of fire, and it's a little girl from such a long distance. But they were friends immediately, same pasts. But when Pantherlily caught the two, and noticed the affection, he forbid Mystogan to see her again. If he seen them together he would hurt her.
He stayed away for seven years, but she came to him for help one day. He tried to tell her to leave, but Pantherlily seen them. He did what he promised, he hurt her. Mystogan couldn't stand it, he used what Pantherlily taught him to kill him. He then took Wendy to the nearest health center. She was healed, and after that Mystogan explained what happened. After that Mystogan swore to look over her, she was like a little sister to her. They Traveled everywhere, taking on job's in various city's.
Wendy may not have looked like it, but she was strong. She knew the rain element, something that Mystogan loved. It was around this time when Mystogan received his first staff. It was a small one, fit for his size, wrapped in white cloth at the top and it was circular. Ever since he's loved the way of the staff.
He learned how to use it, how to hit people with it, how to manipulate it in way's you could never imagine for a child. Wendy also got stronger enhancing her chakra level and learning 3 new element's. An old man named Makarov noticed their ability's and offered them both a spot in an upcoming guild that had very powerful ninja. They accepted ofcourse, Guild's had job's, they needed money. So it was the beginning of a new adventure.
Mystogan and Wendy were in fact very close, but nonetheless, Wendy was a small child, and Mystogan was older. He could go on higher ranked mission's than her at any time. He got involved in a lot during the next 3 or so years, he was mature enough now to try and part himself with Wendy, so she couldn't get involved in anything. His first Rival was Eddy-Kun, at the time he was much stronger than Mystogan, but Mystogan wanted a battle. Of Course he lost, after that Mystogan Vowed to get stronger and Defeat him. And so he did, within a year Mystogan was ahead of Eddy's league, and on a completely different level.
Now, Mystogan couldn't learn everything himself, he had a mentor, the name was Axle. He taught him so man things, things that he wouldn't be half of who he is now. And they werent all ability's either. His Mentor had another student Named Mugen Ryukyu. Mystogan and Mugen were immediately friends, and this was Mystogan's next rival. The rivalry between the two still isn't over to this day, -sigh- I don't think it will ever end either. Mystogan grew elder, and got more split from wendy. She finally moved on, and went back to Amegakure, she told Mystogan to see her again he would half to meet her there. The part way's, until the day they would meet again.
The old Day's.
One day, Mystogan took on an S-Ranked mission without anyone's permission or knowledge. He would soon be in a life or death situation. One of the highest ranked ninja there, Naruto.. noticed a submission missing, he let the guild know. Makarov told him to track Mystogan down immediately and bring him back. Naruto.. would do so without question. Mystogan was on the verge of dying surrounded by many S-Class ninja. This is when Naruto.. showed up and saved his ass, bringing him back to the guild, they have been low key close friends ever since.
Let's not forget the a$s hole of the guild, Gats. Him and Mystogan were once close friends, but something happened
. I think gats started up on the drugs again. But that's another story. And let's not forget who may be another Mentor, he now goes by the name of Xylon. A friend, a good friend indeed U_U. There is not a lifetime between us, but there's something there, it will always be in the friendship section. There is in fact one person that Mystogan was infatuated with (well there were a few). The name is Lili-Chwan. The all powerful, awesome Lili T_T. She's like Erza Scarlet... Who know's not of my existence... And omg let's not bring HBA up, too much.Nero has whooped Mystogans ass multiple times, but he will get him one day... And Lord Danzo, what a friend. He's the type of friend you can only call (friend). & Pervy. He was strong enough to have been a mentor to someone for some time, -Minato-.

The Ending.
Most of these people left over time. Mystogan ended up being one of the best Guild members there were. He went on many missions, he was on a dangerous mission in the Land of Snow, This is also where he met Akiza. The old man that had him do the job promised to train him in a sacred art, Ice release. He finally decided to go to Amegakure to find Wendy. She'd grown, grown to be a strong little lady xd. He was proud. He used to put the guild members to sleep to be undetected, he wasn't so uppety about all of the new members. He got over it in time, this is around the time he stopped wearing the mask.
To this day, Mystogan is still doing what he does best, whooping ass that is U_U.
