(The heated battle between the group (with Melody and Streak being absent) and Carnage has now come to a close with Carnage on the floor of the shop visited earlier and Fangs standing over him.An injured Lupus and Mike look on wondering what her next move is.)
Lupus:(speaking under his breath) She smashed him against that wall....nice.
Carnage: (unable to yell due to his heavy injuries) Y- you beat me....
Fangs: (glaring down at the half-dead Carnage) Yeah.
(Carnage slowly moves his hand towards his mouth licking the blood off his hand while his eyes water with joy.)
Carnage: (his voice slowly raising) I won.... I GOT YOUR BLOOD ... I WON!!!
(Fangs quietly walks past Carnage's body on the floor and picks up a stone off the floor that was separated from the wall when she smashed Carnage through it. With the stone in her hand she walks back over to Carnage to a point where she is directly in front of his face. Carnage slowly lifts his head up to meet the eyes of the ticked-off vampire and the giant stone she is carrying.)
Carnage: (his voice lowering in a state of fear) But ..I.... I won...
(Fangs faintly smiles and with no warning plummets the stone onto the head of Carnage with the back of his head caving in from the damage.)
(Melody and Streak seeing Mike Lupus and Pantatharus from a distance run towards them. Once the two reach the three they take not of their injuries.)
Melody: (kneeling down beside Lupus) Hey , what happened here?
Lupus: (putting pressure on his chest wound) It's a long story. But some guy who called himself ... Carnage tried to kill us but we beat him. So no big deal.
Streak: (shouting) Melody I think your friend needs some help he's trapped under a .. panther.
(Melody helps the injured Lupus up and they head towards the location of Streak and Mike, who is trapped under Pantatharus after the ordeal with Carnage.)
Mike: (to Melody) So did you have a good time doing well... you know?
(Melody blushes at Mike's question with Streak looking down and smiling. Lupus goes into Wolf-Mode and struggles at first to lift Pantatharus off of Mike due to his injuries but eventually does. With that done he collapses due to exhaustion.)
Melody: (looking around) Mike, where's Fangs?
(Mike points in the direction of the wrecked shop. Melody sees Fangs emerge from the hole in the wall the latter caused with the dead body of Carnage also in her vision.)
Melody: (to Mike) Is that the Carnage guy?
Mike: Yeah that's him.
(Fangs walks towards the group fully intent on telling Melody what went down but she suddenly stops frozen in her tracks when she feels something resting on her shoulder. Melody, Mike, and Streak who are staring at her see Carnage with his left arm draped across her left shoulder, his head nestled on her right shoulder, and his right hand placed on her chest. The blood coming out of the wound on his head drips onto Fangs as her friends look on. Streak unsheathing his weapon prepares to confront Carnage but upon further inspection he sees that he's dead which the others don't even realize. Carnage's right hand glows like it always does before an explosion happens but instead of one actually occurring only a piece of paper appears out of his hand. The dead body of Carnage falls down towards the ground which brings relief among the group. Melody runs up to Fangs and hugs her.)
Melody: (hugging Fangs) Are you ok I thought you were gonna die or something.
Fangs: (slowly trying to get out of the hug) Yeah I'm fine it was just a fight but we won. I think that paper thing is yours.
(Melody looks down at the paper and it is revealed to be a song sheet with the song being able to take her two the next dimension she needs to get to. Melody folds the sheet up and puts it in her pocket.)
Melody: Okay guys let's go back to camp.
Fangs: (irritated) But what about the song?
Melody: I think we should rest up before we move onto the next dimension.
Fangs: Fine.
(Melody and Fangs walk over to where Streak, Mike, and the now-awoken Pantatharus are located. Melody asks Streak if he can carry Lupus back to the campsite to which he complies. Back at the campsite Fangs and Mike have a little conversation before they head off to bed.)
Fangs: (to Mike) Why were you so focused on fighting that guy today?
(Mike who was petting Pantatharus hesitated to answer Fangs' question but turned around and spoke to her about it anyway)
Mike: Well when I died a while back waiting for the bus to come there was the guy with a knife who was chasing some other guy down this alleyway.
Fangs: And you went to help him.
Mike: Yeah... I ran down that same alleyway and I saw the man with the knife just stab the other guy over and over and over. But it wasn't like the stabbing that you see in horror movies. This guy was enjoying every second of it he even laughed for a few seconds. Then he turned around and saw me but I didn't try to run anyway I figured why would I want to live in this world with people like him. So he stabbed me too just like the other guy and left us both there for dead.
Fangs: (saddened) I'm sorry I never knew...
Mike: (smiles) No it's fine I'm not holding anything against you. But seeing that Carnage guy reminded me of the guy with the knife and since I never got to stop my killer than I could stop Carnage and because of that save any other life he was after.
Fangs: Well you beat him... well I did since I'm the one who killed him.
(Mike and Fangs both share a laugh before Mike starts to speak again)
Mike: Yeah your right you did get him... Thanks for talking with me I feel a little bit better now that I shared my story with someone.
Fangs: (smiling) Sure, well Good Night.
Mike: Night Night.
(Fangs lays down and turns over. Mike who resumes petting Pantatharus smiles having lifted a heavy load of his shoulders.)
