There are a lot of theories out there right now about who the mystery man might be, so I'm making one of my own for fun, and also for a competition Veritas told me about that he's holding.

Most people seem to lean toward Kabuto the most due to his relevancy to Sasuke ever since he got Izanami'd by Itachi. To break out of it Kabuto would have to supposedly acknowledge himself and become a good guy, and he would help Sasuke because well, he's a good guy now. Besides Orochimaru and friends should be able to recognize Kabuto right away, I find it weird that none of them actually did. I'm not liking the Yamato idea either, since I believe him to be inside of Spiral Zetsu.
Zetsu chaos
From the last 8 chapters we've seen 3 different Zetsus making their appearance now. The first was

Conclusion
I believe that mystery person is a Zetsu, not Kabuto in DSM, not Yamato, not Jiraya nor SO6P.
Kishi might troll and get a laugh out of us though, but I believe in him

. So pretty much all 3 translations imply that the mystery guy is a bad person. Karin is one of the best sensor in the manga so her feeling should be pretty accurate, we can conclude from this that this person isn't good. Out of everyone from the pool, I'm going with an unseen Zetsu, particularly this one:

, who was supposedly killed by Chojuro, taking over Obito. The second was

whose original was killed by Sasuke and was wiped out during the war. The third was

who went missing after kid Obito worn him and killed the Mist shinobis. Out of these 3, Black and Spiral were the most unexpected and caught people off-guard. Madara can communicate with Zetsus

and so far he has been assigning each individual a different job. Having already praised Sasuke and his pair of eyes, it makes sense that Madara wants to do something with them instead of letting them rot right there. He has also been talking about nurturing a pair of eyes, and I think it has to do with Sasuke and a potential Rinnegan and what not. Madara being a sensor can definitely sense Hashirama's chakra inside of Sasuke. Due to sealing the Juubi and taking his other eye being top priority, Madara might have assigned this Zetsu the job to do whatever it is with Sasuke while Madara himself goes to take back his Rinnegan.Appearance

]. Notice how he has spikes thingy over his body, and his head. Kabuto and all the other people like Jiraya, Yamato, SO6P have hair that look nothing like it. I made a comparison between that and the Zetsu I'm talking about, they look pretty similar if you ask me:

Conclusion
I believe that mystery person is a Zetsu, not Kabuto in DSM, not Yamato, not Jiraya nor SO6P.
