my theory on why naruto might unlock the sharingan

That's a very irregular sort of transplant.
Itachi used a Genjutsu on Naruto, it can't be used for a sharingan transplant.
I wouldn't be shocked if he got it somehow, but it'd be utterly stupid of Kishi and friends to have Naruto obtain a Sharingan that way.

Your right about Nagato. Shippuden is the name for the anime, and the anime hasn't shown Nagato being referred to as an Uzumaki. I actually never thought Itachi was a good guy yet he was. I never thought Jiraiya would die yet he did. Many things can happen, but hoping for a Sharingan transplant through Genjutsu is worthy of a :flaw:

No, the thing is this... Itachi transplanted his own power. Nothing said to be of the Uchiha, but it is implied that it will most likely be an Uchiha power. It can't be a Sharingan because:
1. Genjutsu can't be used for a transplant of Body members or it's most likely never to be seen that it will happen like that.
2. Power of Itachi does not = Itachi's sharingan.

Madara isn't telling the full truth, but he's told the truth about Itachi. For all we know atm... Madara or Sasuke don't know about Itachi's brief encounter with Naruto.

This is unless and I hate your theory. Lol jk but I don't think it will be the sharingan, I think it will be something like the 4th did with Naruto but different like Sasuke use a genjutsu on Naruto and Itachi appears and talks to Sasuke.

That is exactly what I was thinking! Itachi will probably try to convince him to stop attacking the village. After all Konoha is the only thing Itachi loved more than Sasuke.

Naruto sucks at Genjutsu. He can barely break out of it, what makes you think he can actually pull off a Genjutsu against probably the 2nd best Genjutsu user alive atm.

If Sasuke can break out of Itachi's Genjutsu than He'll most likely piss on Naruto's genjutsu if it happens.
