my theory on why naruto might unlock the sharingan

Maybe Itachi gift was the same as Madara to Nagato? A way to awaken the Rinnegan?, at a critical point in a battle?

This could end up being a good theory.. but there is a plot hole.. well you see madara claims he gave nagato the rinnegan.. madara has the EMS.. itachi too has it.. and both madara and itachi are geniuses, so it could work itachi doing the same thing to naruto..(another supporting point is that nagato and naruto both were uzumaki.. and to add to that naruto has the body of the so6p).. but we dont know were sure if madara really did give or was he lying.. in the manga it is clear that nagato was distantly related to the sage in some way and the rinnegan has reawakened through him..
if whatever madara did really give.. how did he.. and why didnt he keep it to himself.. did he give to only take it back again??

I said it before, and I guess I'll say it again, for those of you who apparently didn't go back, and read earlier post.

By Me In An Earlier Rant:
If Nagato wasn't the child of prophecy, due the fact that Madara gave him The Rinnegan, then Naruto might actually be. How Madara got a hold of those eyes is beyond me, but I'm sure theres a way. With that being said, Naruto most likely will not unlock the Sharingan, but instead the Rinnegan. Comprende?

if hes gonna get a dojutsu itll be the rinnegan ... nagato had it ... mby madara gave it to him ... but i think that he adjusted the circumstances in which nagatos rinnegan developed and because he did that he sees himself as the rightful owner

Nah i still think that Naruto will somehow Get the Rhinnengan and fight madara ? I do not think that even Sasuke is capable of killing Madara. And i do not believe that both will cooperate , So the Final Round is all to Naruto . As all of the kage's are newbs . TEEHE :O
