My theory on Sasuke.

This is just my thought and I have no manga evidence to back it up but lemme know what you guys think.

If we take a look at Itachi in part 1 pretty much everybody thought he was evil, and further more it wasn't until he was already dead that we found out that he wasn't evil all along(bumped up to well intentioned extremist from evil mass murdering monster). So what if Sasuke is trying to do the same right now?
He understands that where he is he doesn't stand a chance against tobi, maybe he's waiting for the right time to strike, and is doing what he's told so that he can gain his trust. Perhaps all the evil he's doing is in order to Overshadow Itachis' evil and focus all the hate towards the uchiha clan on himself alone(Like Lelouche in Code Geass good anime if you haven't watched it)
He seems to have lost his mind and given himself up completely to vengeance but maybe there's more to it then that. He said when talking to Tobi that Itachi ment more to him then anything, even more then his pride and dream to revive the Uchiha, so that's why I think he's just trying to make history forget about Itachi and only focus on Sasuke even if he's got to drag himself through the mud. He told Naruto that he would have to kill him and become a hero, which is the same thing that Itachi wanted Sasuke to do with him.

Tobi isn't that careless to let his guard down around Sasuke. Secondly Sasuke's susano was able to be completed because of his "hatred" so he wont stray from trying to destroy the Leaf Village.

You may be right but you may be wrong , also i think Sasuke still see's Naruto as his best friend despite of his anger on Konoha village , so ur theory may be a little true .

Why? I think it's better then after their fight naruto hit's him with the friendship speach no justu likes he's done to nearly every other "bad" guy in the series, I think this way is less of a cop out then after their huge fight Naruto's like Sasuke lets be friends and Sasuke realizes oh wait i've been being a huge idoit this whole time Itachi wanted me to protect konoha not destroy it ok naruto lets go fight tobi now BRO FIST

i think u might be right mostly because sasuke always feels sad when naruto is around him(like after killing danzo,when he tried to kill sakura which i wish he did)he had a sad face then gave a fake smile,
plus i don't see SASUKE destroying the leaf(only him can't take on the leaf even with EMS he will still run out of chakara),and if he does destroys the leaf then NARUTO will not have a place to become hokage which is 1 main point of the story
He will save sasuke then become hokage thats the main story,somehow kishi will make it workU_U

No. Itachi seemed evil because their was so much we didn't know about him he was the master of deception unlike Sasuke who is always telling us his true intentions he is usually confused or being used.

How do you know it was because of anger, maybe it was because of pain. I think he honestly hated Danzo, Danzo was the one that used Itachi as a pawn that led to his death. However he does not hate naruto i think most people agree with this. Sasukes smarter then people give him credit he is after all itachi's brother. I'm no sasuke fanboy but i do think that this is possible, mostly i don't want to see another friendship speach no justu cop out again.
