My theory on Ichigo

Ok so this is the problem

• Urahara Kisuke created the Hogyoku
  
• Urahara created the Vizard Shinigami who can access Hollow powers
  
• Urahara was banished from Seiretei (Soul Society)
  
• Urahara hid the hogyoku in Kuchihi Rukia
  
• Kurosaki Ichigo took Rukias powers (and part of Hogyoku i think)
  
• When Aizen Sousuke took the Hogyoku from Rukia he commented
  that it was smaller than he thought it would be
  
• It was revealed that with the Hogyoku Aizen could create Arrancer
  Hollows with Shinigami powers
  
• So for Ichigo to use Hollow powers he would need the Hogyoku
  but i think he has the rest of the hogyoku in his body that's why
  he was able to do hollowfication.

its a good theory..but he got rukias powers before she had got the gigai from urahara. the gigai rukia got from urahara was slowly turning rukia into a mortal instead of allowing her to regain her shinigami powers.

Hogyoku was hidden in the gigai not in rukia >_> rukia was given the gigai after she had lost her powers
