Secondly, i admire your creativity with your limited techniques. That's something that not a lot of people have.
Thirdly, you need to loosen up and get your mind into the battle. Perhaps the best thing you can learn as a battler is how to put your actual self into the battle. You must visualize your current situation and consider all possible moves. Then, you must select the move that is most easily accomplished and yet has the greatest effect on your opponent.
Fourthly (is that a word?) you need more confidence. You need to be confident that you will win, and you must never give up. 99% of the time, there is a way to overcome your opponent's attacks. If more people realized that, battles would go on for a lot longer than they typically do.
