The burden of being alone:
For sins, not mine, I had to atone,
Parental love I did not know,
People’s attention I wanted to draw.
I carried a fate I didn’t choose,
The cycle of hatred, an endless loop,
I resorted to mischief and pranks,
I was aiming for the highest rank.
I swore to become the strongest,
The path I followed was full of threats,
My best friend was my rival as well,
Only I can save him from his hell.
I’ve made a promise: not to give up,
I will keep it no matter what,
I have comrades to take care of,
For them, I have to be tough.
I’ve been entrusted with the future,
On my words, my back I’ll never turn,
I must become the hokage,
I’ll take your pain away, Sasuke!
I will be the wind that sails your flame,
And the whirlpool to extinguish hate.
My Will of Fire will never sway,
That is my nindo, my ninja way!
