Basically What is Fuuinjutsu? And How is it used in Battle and RPing in the NW?

To be succinct in my answer, Fuinjutsu, is, essentially, Sealing techniques.

I had a strange urge to end my reply, since I felt I had the gist of it in my simplistic answer, but I guess I should attempt to do this properly, yes? Well, as its name suggests, Fuinjutsu refers to a set of techniques that are used, in some way or another, to seal stuff, be it chakra(techniques), objects such as weaponry, etc. All these are normally sealed within 'something', such as scrolls, for example. Normally, to seal, you need some sort of tag, with some sort of weird Kanji symbol emblazoned upon the tag. This is probably the most important part, as it would enable the process of sealing the object into the 'vessel', along with chakra.

I'm not really familiar with the second part, but I guess you could seal your weapons into scrolls to use in battle, like that kinda-gay-Uchiha did. I also believe that the sensing technique that Jiraiya used is now Fuin, not Nin? Fuin can also be used to seal off the opponent's chakra, his movements, and so on so forth o-o Of course, there's also the thing you mentioned about the scrolls <_>

Placing my hands behind my back, I gently tap my own ass, whilst letting out an effeminate laugh, as my butt tickled most pleasantly.
Oh wait, after doing that, I realized the utter stupidity of my actions. Hoping you didn't see my moment of foolishness, which so happened to be most atypical of me, I instead began to amass a portion of my chakra. Moving my hands forward, I placed them together in a fluid motion. I then masterfully release my chakra, propagating it throughout the battlefield from my hands outwards, encompassing me in a spherical barrier above ground. The barrier continues to expand with me fueling it with my chakra until it covers mid-range all around me. As it happens, I find myself realizing a bunch of new things, new information which I procured through the use of this barrier I erected with my chakra.

Not bad huh

It's a pretty handy technique if you need something for sensing purposes. It could detect the opponent so it could help weed out opponents who are concealing themselves via some unknown method. It also activates rather quickly with only the need for clapping.
However, it's pretty costly in terms of chakra to maintain. I mean, Rain Tiger of Will is much sexier and costs less chakra. Also, it doesn't cover the the area underground, I assume? Though you could also sense your opponent via their absence inside the barrier so you'd know either they're out of range or underground <_>

yea it's a lot quicker to use than the rain technique and a lot harder to maintain in terms of chakra and yea you're right about that assumption

yea it's a lot quicker to use than the rain technique and a lot harder to maintain in terms of chakra and yea you're right about that assumption

Describe how to do it: With much precision, I place multiple explosive tags with specific intervals between them around an area. Should anybody walk through that area, the tags would activate, exploding in a whole whurly-furly mass of shiz.

How many hand seals does it have: Not many, wait, perhaps, zero?

Advantages: Could be an effective trap for unsuspecting ****s who don't metagame if used correctly.

Disadvantages: Takes time to set the trap

Combos and possible uses: I dunno, boom? Usable as a trap, nothing much really.

How to defend against it: Destroy the tags sir, or simply avoid it.

Describe how to do it: Assuming a barrier has been erected somewhere on the battlefield, I simply approach it most courageously, before placing my hands upon the barrier. Then, amassing my chakra, I insert it into the barrier, sending my chakra into the barrier, allowing it to go haywire, disrupting the flow of chakra within the barrier, thereby destroying and cancelling the barrier out.

How many hand seals does it have: Nooone

Advantages: Pretty cool tech against the Barrier Dome Method thing and other B-rank Barrier techs or whatever >_>

Disadvantages: Low ranked and works only against low ranked barriers. Requires direct contact.

Combos and possible uses: Destroy barriers..?

How to defend against it: Uhh, you don't.

Description: The user will take a tag marked with the kanjis 障害 (Shōgai) and either place it on a weapon (like wrapped around a kunai's handle) or on a surface (like the ground). Upon doing so, a defensive spherical barrier is erected around the tag as a seal. The barrier can be used to defend against up to B-Rank ninjutsu but also be used to contain an enemy inside if feasible.

(Fuuinjutsu: Kami Komyunikēshon) Sealing Arts: Scroll Communication technique

Description:
The user will create 2 or more scrolls with an embedded sealing formula that connects them all together. As such, anything written in one scroll will appear written in all the connected scrolls. A very useful communication technique, it can connect scrolls regardless of the distance between them. To activate the scroll, the user needs to perform a key of hand seals that will be unique for each creation and only known to those the user wishes, preventing the use of the scrolls by those the user doesn't allow.
