You just both contradicted yourself and proved my point... If the man has nothing that means it doesn't exist... .-. therefore nothing doesn't exist... The man has no money which means his money is non-existent...

F*ck it...

Nothing legitimately is something. Which explains the creation of negatives. If a man were to say he had no money that could also mean that is in debt. He has nothing that belongs to him or he has spent all he is worth and went over and deeper into nothing.
Even small lines like :" A deep dark void of nothingness" prove that nothing is something because nothing can't be described if it weren't something.

Negatives are less than nothing which doesn't exist even though we, as humans, have created a term we use to describe the absence of something, hence why we have the word nothing. However, the concept explained by the word nothing, by definition, cannot exist, as nothing cannot be something or anything. Ergo, nothing does not exist even though there is a word that explains the concept of there being an absence of somthing or, for that matter, anything at all.

This thread is "Nothing", and I mean that in the sense of it should be absolutely nothng. No Bites, No Cookie, No Data.

Forte is a "Thing", because his ability to type on a computer, or even think about words to respond.

Negatives are a convince for our math. That is it. You cannot have negative something in the universe. Negatives make math work because we cannot calculate the absolute minimums needed for perfect math.

Nothing can exist, just like you can prove the existence of a black hole by the absence of light. It exists because of the lack of existence of something, it is basically dependent on something. If a = false then b = true.

But no one said that every absence of something in the universe must be nothing. Nothing is a simple term we use daily with a complex meaning.

We use it in a slang type manner on a daily basis. Slang changes more than a woman changes clothes in their lifetime. There is really no point in debating about slang as it changes all of the time. Gay used to mean happy, then it was an insult to gay people, now it just means something is stupid/annoying/etc.

Slang meanings are about pointless as one word can mean multiple things to different people.

Take this word for example
Cunt (play /ˈkʌnt/) is a vulgarism, primarily referring to the female genitalia,[1] specifically the vulva, and including the cleft of Venus. The earliest citation of this usage in the 1972 Oxford English Dictionary, c 1230, refers to the London street known as Gropecunt Lane. Scholar Germaine Greer has said that "it is one of the few remaining words in the English language with a genuine power to shock."[2]

Cunt is also used as a derogatory epithet referring to a person of either ***. This usage is relatively recent, dating from the late nineteenth century.[3] Reflecting different national usages, cunt is described as "an unpleasant or stupid person" in the Compact Oxford English Dictionary, whereas Merriam-Webster has a usage of the term as "usually disparaging & obscene: woman",[4] noting that it is used in the US as "an offensive way to refer to a woman";[5] the Macquarie Dictionary of Australian English states that it is "a despicable man", however when used with a positive qualifier (good, funny, clever, etc.) in the Britain, New Zealand and Australia, it conveys a positive sense of the object or person referred to.[6]

That word is positive in some places =/ so yeah.... Slang meanings are moot.

The answer is simple, just google it, if you find it then it exists (it was stated, it was discovered, it was created, it was decided to be that way, whatever you want etc.)
Case closed xd

If i were to make my judgement based on the OP then i'd say IJD wins this. But going on to reading the rest of the thread, my vote goes to nothing...o_O
-------------------------------------------------

And if nothing exists and at the same time it does, would mean that something is nothing temporarily ? Don't even bother questioning this logic, im so baffled right now.
