Dear Lord,

I pray for peace in the world. I pray for the peace for my country. I pray for peace for my family, neighbors, friends, and community. I pray for my own inner peace.

There is so much hurt, fear, confusion and torment being spread throughout the world and it needs to stop. God, I can't take it anymore. If there is anything I can do, I will. you always said that people live bound by what they believe to be correct and true... but what is "correct" and "true" in the suffering of others?

I've pleaded with you and begged you for your help and every day is becoming worse than the one before. We are tired Lord and lost and desperate. Please help us. Amen.
