My friend is in jail for 10 years

I juz wish I could of stopped him and tell him it ain't worth it. I believe the guy who threatened him was a *****. And wouldn't of shot anyone.

1. the guy had a right to defend his family
2. unfortunately that right doesnt take effect until the person who threatened him actually attacks his family
3. the only thing he can do before then is go to the police.

taking matters in to your own hands is against the law, thats why we have police. he had a REASON to shoot the guy but he didnt have the RIGHT to because the guy didnt actually attack his family. best thing to do is to not be put in those type of situations. unfortunately the guy you described as your friend seems like the type to put himself in these situations. so all he can do is know what he is getting in to and be prepared for the consequences.

LOL naw I'm not mad at all. But i really don't have any respect for people that go outside of the law to conduct their "own justice". It is why we elect a government and have police to enforce the laws and keep the peace. I fully realize that things may not be perfect or go your way, but this guys didint even try to settle this the logical way through the correct agencies. He just decides to pick up a gun and shoot someone, therefore making the system that we already have established, seem like it has even more flaws because yet another person assumes it doesnt work and goes outside of it.

im from brooklyn too, but my parents made sure i moved from there two weeks after i was born. i just wish you didnt have to live through this everyday
