1. Yes he had one because of the massacre and the speech Itachi gave him.

2. Did I even say that? No I didn't. Naruto said that Sasuke was always his goal. He had no complex because he wasn't living Sasukes life.

3. They are equals in the end and even though Naruto was stronger than Sasuke most of the time in the war as you say, it still isn't the majority of the manga. Sasuke was the superior fighter during most of the manga.

What i'm trying to say is that they both always looked up to each other, it was a mutual respect. Expect that Naruto was always straight forward with it and always admitted it, where as Sasuke was in denial because he considered it as a weakness.
