I figured other people on NB might have a Doberman, which has dandruff issues. I'm assuming it's probably in relation to the cold weather. I'm sure there is some simple remedy to this, other than a a vet visit (which would probably cost like 30 dollars just to be seen).

You were ready to pay hundreds of dollars for the animal but not "like 30 dollars" to care for him/hers health?

You could try and google for a solution?

When I got her, I was still gainfully employed by the US Army. Now, I work at a gas station while going through college. Not exactly financially stable at the moment. It nearly bankrupted me just getting her annual rabies, distemperment boosters.

Well you're bit short on choises brother.
In that case, maybe you should spend some time going through some websites about dogs and pets overall. I'm sure when you compare the answers you will find the ones that match and go along with those. But I bet they all suggest you visiting a vet anyway. Or maybe someone here with experience will contact you eventually ^^
