Itachi is the nicest guy with possibly the purest chakra in the series (rivaling narutos). Itachi awakened susanoo when he awakened his MS. I QUOTE: The third power that was awakened on that fateful day. (ie: when he killed shisui and awakened his MS).

Sasuke stated that in order for one to achieve the power of susanoo, he must have a "double" mangekyou.

Have you all noticed that all other MS users besides Madara and Itachi and Sasuke, have the SAME abilities in BOTH eyes? For example Obito has Kamui in both of his and the power of his eyes do not differentiate at all. Same goes Shisui who has only KA in both of his eyes....

Interpretation:
To have susanoo you DON'T need amaturasu and tsykiyomi, but you rather must have different MS techniques in EACH eye. I believe that is why sasukay never said you must have amaturasu and tsykiyomi. That also adds on to why sasuke can't use tsykiyomi, but rather than a generic MS sharingan like Madara. Go read the fight with kabuto again. He never said Tsykiyomi when he genjutsud Itachi while Itachi did say it. Even more proof is that Itachi was able to control kabuto with the same technique that sasuke used on a hidden cloud village when he was trying to find bee. Itachi did not use Tsykiyomi, but rather a generic MS technique, same as what sasuke and Madara have. He used his eye that posses the ability of amaturasu to control him. Makes sense no?

Sasuke does have ANOTHER ability in his right eye. That's the power to CONTROL the amaturasu flames. That's his other ability that granted him susanoo. So Sasuke doesn't have Tsykiyomi but still a rather powerful MS genjutsu.


It all ties in perfectly.

Notice: When Itachi crippled Kabuto, he was blind in the eye which possessed his ability to use Tsykiyomi. Yet he still was able to control Kabuto without it. Why? Because every MS user has a generic MS sharingan genjutsu, which can be used to control other people or the kyubi, but not as big as the scale of Tsykiyomi and KA. Tobi didn't have Tsykiyomi, but still controlled the kyubi.

Tbh i dont blame those who say sasuke doesnt have tsukuyomi because i made the same mistake but also the manga and databook contracts itself. There are arguments that goes both ways however the argument for sasuke having tsukuyomi are stronger.

The arguments against sasuke having tsukuyomi is basically because;

• Manga hasnt called it tsukuyomi but rather sharingan genjutsu
• Sasuke said you need to master both ms to get the third power and sasuke's third power is the ability to mold amaterasu to create a new element; blaze release
• Tobi called sasuke's ms genjutsu 'weak'

^^^ Thats more or else the argument against sasuke having tsukuyomi.

Good Analysis but Sasuke does have Tsukuyomi, he used it against Danzo when he was able to make all those crows come out of his body and make Itachi appear in front of him. Danzo stated Sasuke wasn't a skilled at using Tsukuyomi as Itachi was but he was alright.

I've come to the conclusion that he indeed does not have tsykiyomi. Their was many CHANCES were kishi could have shown that he posses it, yet he DID NOT have Sasuke utter such a word.

Not once not ever. You all say that tsykiyomi is needed, but its OBVIOUS a DOUBLE Mangekyou Sharingan is the ONLY requirement. Two different techniques required NOT two SPECIFIC. just DIFFERENT. Or else kishi would have made it obvious during the kabuto fight that Sasuke has it.
