Kamina is tall and built. He has light blue, short, spiky hair and he has tattoos along both of his arms which extend to his shoulders and near his upper back. He wears a thick dark grey rain coat almost all of the time with his hood up whenever it rains which is frequent in Amegakure. He wears his Amegakure headband but with the horizontal line across the four vertical lines.
He wears dark blue trousers with bandages wrapped around the bottom half way from the top of his shin and all the way down to his ankle. He also has bandages wrapped around his left thigh and a small pouch where he keeps a kunai. Lastly he wears a scarf that his wife and son made for him.
Personality
Kamina is a man who would always put his family first before anything, even before his own life if it means keeping them safe. He is loyal to the person he serves but if his family comes between them he will always choose the option that he would think best for his family.
He's not a very punctual man but normally he has an excuse ready he has many friends due to his ability to make people laugh with his funny attitude, if there's a possibility for a joke he will take it. He sometimes wonders why he's even on one of Hanzo's special squads, he always thinks that Hanzo must see potential in him.

Background Info.
History:
Kamina has one child a boy at the age of four and he has a wife which is the same age as him. They have had a happy life in Amegakure together but then Kamina was called to an ambush of a popular group that was started by a man called Yahiko. He was very late to it and he was afraid what Hanzo would do to him if he found out but by the time he got there he was witnessing a battle between Nagato and Hanzo. Seeing that even Hanzo had to run from this man (Nagato) he began to fear that a Civil War will start in Amegakure and he wanted to pick what he thought was the strongest side. He chose Nagato's side because he thought that if Hanzo ran from him he must be the strongest and would provide the most protection.
Now instead of having a normal Amegakure Headband with the four vertical lines one horizontal line was scratched through the middle with his kunai in order to show that he served Lord Pain. When the Civil War had stopped because Lord Pain had killed Hanzo he thought that he could get on with his normal life and everything would go back to the way it was before, but he was wrong.
Lord Pain began killing every known associate of Hanzo and people who came to assassinate him believed he shouldn't have killed Hanzo, who was the rightful ruler of Amegakure. He could understand why the assassins tried to kill him, because they were threatening his life. But people who were even outside of the village and who had no affiliation with the village anymore and because the had done dealings with Hanzo in the past, were killed and their families too.
Fearing that Lord Pain would find out that he served Hanzo in the past and kill him and his family he attempted to secretly flee Amegakure. On the night that he did it he took his head band off and through it into the ocean so that he can start to forget the horrible memories of serving Lord Pain. He reached the gate to the village, he made sure that no one was around he reached out to push the gate but pieces of paper began to unravel from the door. He backed away and watched the paper as it formed into a woman and he realized that it was Lady Angel (Konan). She stared at him for a few moments and then at his family and back to him and told him to leave. She then unraveled again and was gone.
He then left Amegakure and traveled to a remote area in the Land of Fire. He now lives in a log cabin with his family in a forest somewhere in the Land of Fire still wondering to this day why Lady Angel let him and his family go. He realized two years later that she must have covered for him in some way so that Pain would not come after him.
He thinks of her as his true savior.
