yea but those 10 year old kids are ruthless lol, but its more than kids, its all sorts of people playing it,

skryim sounds fun, but without multiplayers it loses appeal imo
Thats the beauty of games like skyrim they're not for multiplayer like assassins creed and final fantasy VII-X anyway.

You play them for the story the journey the scenery the freedom to play as you like.

Nowadays it's all about STATS and killing each other online.

In COD you have a few choices...what weapon to kill with and thats about it.

The BEST games you can choose how to kill or even don't bother. In some games you can convince OTHERS to do the killing for you (Oblivion...)

And THAT is why Skyrim(oblivion series) > Any COD

its nice you can play single player and have fun, but nothing can beat the fact that you get to test your gangster on everyone else, cod takes skill , well black ops doesnt but mw3 takes skill, you can just jump on this new one and think you the best, you will get wrecked,

im sure its a great game, but online multiplayer brought me back to playing video games

You just proved my point in a way New Generation - Old Generation.

I played the Original Nintendo Console - N64 - Gameboy - Gameboy Adv - PS1 - PS2 - Xbox - Xbox360 - PS3.

And I am shit hot at FPS but I prefer RPG as it's more appealing and time consuming. Spending hours going round to rank up by killing idiots online with an Uzi or Shotgun in a 8-12 player map bores me.

In Halo my mates started with whatever weapons they liked I had a pistol and handicap of 25% less health. I won with a kill rate of generally <5. Once they started with overshield kill rate for me <10 AND they started in a tank.

The main campaign and story of the game appeals more to me.

I grew up with no online Final Fantasy, Goldeneye, Pokemon etc they were the best then for the story not the multiplayer...well maybe Goldeneye was alright at the time lol.

But look at the way games are going now I have read the reviews for Gears 3 and they're terrible because of the bad script and terrible story. But its good because of the online?? No

Multiplayer makes a game more appealing?

I disagree. A game should be based on it's story, the adventure, the way you grow in the story. Seriously I can spend top maybe 2 hours playing CoD online, after that I'm bored of my a$$.

Rpg's have a feel to gaming that it's you and only you in this work of make-believe, fighting dragons, completing quests and defending the world that's the glory of the true gameplay...online is just an additional option. These game makers like Bethesda puts soooooooooo much effort into creating a game experience that you couldn't imagine. They know that online is killing the true origin of games which is to progress as a player between the characters and yourself not how many kills you can get in a 30 min match.

I'm 23 and I've lived through a number of gaming landmarks, I remember when I was 9 years old and my dad bought me Nintendo 64, I remember how awesome it was...noone knew of online gameplay at that time really, it was all fun to play the story and progress...then I had my first gameboy pocket which was one of my most favorite childhood toys. PS1 came into being and I remember we had it so my Dad could play Tomb Raider and my brother and I bought "Legend of Dragoon" One of my all time favorite video games...I still play it because it was that epic of an RPG even today.

Basically what I'm saying is lucky for us there are companies that still make amazing, age-defying games like "The Elder Scrolls" franchise, they know that a great deal of gamers love the beginning of true video gameplay. Online is ruining the sheer epicness of games and I hope that studios continue to create games with amazing stories, with incredible history, and a game experience that those who appreciate real gaming will love and always remember...

...yeah you can shot a bunch of kids in Mw3 or you can live the epic journey through Skyrim and learn about the entire world, fight dragons, and become a hero.

That really shows what kind of Generation Gamer you are, **** Multiplayer.
I'd rather have good Single Player games instead of repetitive MP games with a 4h Campaign. Don't get me wrong, I love Call of Duty but like I said, I'd choose good SP games over MP games at any time. U_U

Now, all of you can really punch me if you want - I am not going to get Skyrim since it isn't my type of game. I really loved Batman and I'd get Uncharted as well but I don't have a PS3.

And eventho it isn't my kind of game I can already tell that it's better than MW3. Maybe I should really try it but my PC couldn't handle that and I don't have any more money left :/

I also played the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, I had both Gameboy Advance's, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, PS3 and Xbox 360.

I loved Tekken.
I loved Pokemon.
I loved all Super Mario Games. (Kart, Smash Bros, World etc. . .)
I loved Goofy Troof and games like that, Single Player was everything to me.
I loved Grand Theft Auto.

The Reason I got an Xbox was because of GTA IV, if it wasn't for that game - I don't know what I would have now, maybe a gaming PC? Who knows.

And no, MW3 does not take Skill, it's still as easy as always.
The only problem I had was the beginning, I sold my BO 5 months after it came out. Which meant about 7 months no COD, so I had to get back into it. . . And now. . . Easymode.

LOL i like single player games , like that new batman, but games now a days have sucked so bad, that i dont even pay attention to most of them, i like competition, thats wht im about, the computer is easy to beat, but when you have some person around the world playing against you, you dont really know what to expect,

ive enjoyed super mario all of them, but the new ones get repetitive , an i like the old metroid games as well

LOl you must be playing with a group full of good players, dont run into me in the war zone ;) ill get ya!!
