madara, they lived in the same generation muu was not even his rival

muu and 2nd mizukage were in their prime long after madaras supposed defeat. muu acted with respect when madara came out but maybe he felt the rinnegan/hashirama inside him somehow.

What about Haku vs Naruto & Sasuke? He was playing around with them, trying not to kill them and he still proved he was far stronger than both. If it wasn´t for the Nine-tails Haku would have put both Naruto and Sasuke on the floor without killing them with ease. Madara coul´ve done the same... humiliate them with ease.

Okay that was my mistake. I just find it very very odd that Muu would leave Oonoki to fight Madara. So I just assumed that Madara killed him. Anyway, I highly doubt Muu would leave Oonoki around Madara alone who was being hostile. He must have gotten his ass kicked with Oonoki.

I believe Mú got beat to but since it was onoki flashback we only saw him on the ground

I assumed Madara won the first battle with Muu because we didn't see him, only Oonoki. Rereading it it seems more probable Muu and Madara only had a short clash... I can imagine Oonoki demanding to protect the honor of stones or whatever, so Muu leaves him.

Don't mistake what I said... Muu would wipe the floor with EMS Madara imo in a full-on, high stakes battle. He probably recognized Madara's abilities and didn't want to get involved in that kind of intense battle (especially when he had rivals like the Second Mizukage to deal with), or Oonoki wanted to fight Madara so the cold-hearted bastard Muu let him. Love that guy.

that was several years before tobirama's time and we know muu lived most of his time as kage when tobirama was kage. since the first thing he says when summoned is "where is the second hokage?" he didnt care about hashirama. if kabuto were raising the strongest past kages then muu would have thought hashirama would be there if he considered him stronger than his brother.
we dont know what muus techs were, what the situation was or what exactly happened besides onoki getting his ass handed to him as a young teenager.

If current Madara then he wins by a land slide invisability or not hes got way to much going for him right not jinton would just get absorbed and susanoo protects from physical attacks.

If ems Madara then madara by mid-high difficulty as this Madara was the only one able to match hashirama strength.
