I think it would be hell of a fight the watch but Muu would take it with extreme difficulty due to his splitting techniques

Till Jirayia goes sage mode muu could just take it off with jinton he can go invencible and not being seen by Jirayia and atack him with jinton behind orsomething like that, im not really sure but ill go with Muu.

Tengai Hōjin would detect Mū in my opinion. But what can Jiraiya do against a Kekkei Tōta assault? I think Jiriaya would try Hari Jizō but be turned to dust.

According to most people on this forum, very, very few people can beat Muu just because he can turn people to dust. Jiraiya isn't going to stand around and let that happen. He's going in to the fight not knowing Muu's techniques, so he's going to "play around" with him for lack of better words until he figures it out. And going invisible will not help Muu. Jiraiya can sense him by smell, as toads have a very good sense of smell.

Jiraiya will find out about his technique in this match(given that is Muu's only shown offensive attack), will find a way around it, and will dominate the match. Only having 1 offensive technique is suicide when fighting someone like Jiraiya, I don't care how powerful it is.

Let's. Not forget THT pain was invisible inside his summoning creature and it was no prob for ma and pa to find him. So muu going invisible in a mid range fight won't do him any good

Frogs/toads have a keen sense of smell. And given the manga has gone off of facts regarding animals senses, I'm going to assume that it's no different for Jiraiya and ma/pa/his toad summons. While it does state that frogs/toads can't directly pin-point the target, they will look in the general vicinity. Which is more than good enough for Jiraiya.

Plus I'm going to assume Muu isn't invisible when this fight starts anyway, so it's not like it'll be a hard task to keep up with him.

in that exact thing you linked , it stated frogs smell cant pinpoint location.. but just the that something is in a general vicinity...

what good does that do?.. ofc muu is there.... jiraya knows it, they all know it...

The thing that pinpoints exact location are dogs... and kakashi ..

General vicinity is the only thing Jiraiya needs..I stated as much in my post. And given these are "legendary" toads, I think it could be fair to say their senses are improved compared to their "average" counterparts. But even if not...

Muu isn't just going to appear right by Jiraiya and kill him in one hit. And when he does attempt to use the dust release, Jiraiya will know how to take it from there. Muu is at a complete disadvantage for one HUGE reason.

He only has 1 offensive attack and he's fighting one of the most powerful and wisest(when it comes to battling) ninja in Naruto history. There's not a lot of hope for Muu.
