Senseis have to have finished his trainings in all five basic elements, genjutsu and B-ranked Taijutsu I believe(I can't remember, really.). Rest is special teachings. Where you probably have to do X to gain Y.

Well. Sound is a mechanical wave that is an oscillation of pressure transmitted through a solid, liquid, or gas, composed of frequencies within the range of hearing and of a level sufficiently strong to be heard, or the sensation stimulated in organs of hearing by such vibrations. <_< >_>
Using Sound Release involves the useage of frequencies/waves(Sound ones, obviously. O_O) infused with the user's chakra as a medium to aid the user. Sound travels at high speed and can be release from various things, such as instruments, natural sounds or just oneself.

Sound when created with chakra is a result of combining lightning and wind natures. Explain me the similarities lightning and wind has with sound. With that done begin with flowing both lightning and wind natures at the front of your palm.

*I focus the chakra to the center of my palm, and divides them into two. I cause them to go against eachother in oppsite directions. One part goes up, the other will go down, you get it. Doing so, it will create the wind nature's cutting ability. I make them go against eachother faster and faster, and atlast creating lightning bolts due constantly vibrations with the chakra, causing a sound wave to erupt from my palm.*
