It is an element with many uses. Though it may lack great defensive power, it makes up for it with it's somewhat supplementary values. For instance: Using Wind as a quick means of escape from danger. In offensive use, it is renowned for it's slicing abilities and blunt-force impact, which can sweep an enemy away. It is also the most effective way of countering Lightning techniques, (Though I'm not really sure why.)-Because lightning focuses on solid heat so to speak, however wind is more small in size(atoms) and so it has the ability to slice the atoms of lightning apart, thus nullifying it- which makes it very helpful, as Lightning seems to be used often in battle. It is, however, ineffective against Fire, as it only fuels the flames, increasing the strength and size of fire. (Though I'm not sure if a higher rank Wind technique would redirect a weaker Fire technique.)-It will. But its rank has to be +2 then fire.Meaning if the fire was B rank, then to re-direct it your wind needs to be S-rank-
