It's Sasuke. Fanfiction is okay to put him down. Those suddenly become facts. I mean, Jesus Christ, two people are stating that his eye was not working properly. He couldn't do anything with that flame. But it's somehow fanfiction because Sasuke is involved. This forum never ceases to amaze me. Even anime fillers are used now to put this guy down.



What face saving? The manga stating that his "powers have weakened" isn't enough? He couldn't use Chidori, his eye was weakened (both Kurma and him confirm it), so he couldn't focus properly. A jutsu that hinges completely upon focus would be rendered useless without it. But hey, it's Sasuke, so anything goes.

This makes zero sense. Nothing indicates that Amaterasu's potency is alterable or affected by the eye getting weaker.

What his eye getting weaker would do is not allow him to use much of it (make it tough for him to use it but once he spawns the flames that's that) OR not being able to manipulate it. Has nothing to do with the attack potency.

This smells like a sorry attempt at saving Sasuke's face.

Because he couldn't properly control his Rinnegan, he couldn't properly focus the flames on his target which means the ignition process of Amaterasu was never initiated properly to begin with. Singling out my posts isn't going to change that.
