[VS] MS Sasuke versus Pein

Location: Danzo versus Sasuke.

Distance: Across the bridge.

Mind Set: Sasuke is not blood lusted. Pein is in character.

Restrictions: Chibaku Tensei.

Knowledge: Sasuke has full knowledge on the paths and their abilities. Pein knows Sasuke has the MS.

Conditions: Sasuke is as he was right before his battle with Danzo. But, has unlocked all Susano'o variants that the MS is associated with.

Who wins? I personally believe Sasuke wins mid to high diff.

Naw Ms sasuke has more deadly techs such as amaterasu and sussano arrows which doesnt require sasuke to go head in like sm naruto did.

Let me edit the OP with some more details. Just realized I left out some things.

Pain is way too versatile to lose here.

Every time Sasuke uses the MS he has a black lash/recharge rate which leaves him exposed.

If Sasuke uses Amaterasu, then all pains die except Preta and Deva, they both can get the jump on him.

If Sasuke uses Susano'o then he'll kill 1 path with an arrow (Deva can reflect it). Then Susano'o comes down and he's killed.

Visual genjutsu won't work bc they share vision. Tsukuyomi can only affect Nagato, not the paths.

Sasuke has full knowledge on the Paths. Pein knows Sasuke has the MS. Not to mention he is familiar with at the least Amaterasu normally. So, that also works in his favor.

Except Sasuke can't spam powerful techniques like SM Naruto nor the complexity. The sheer number of summons, Asura attacks, and Deva Path abilities crushes any hope of Sasuke winning this.


Sasuke can be overrun by summons. If he uses amaterasu, he'll be cutting down his stamina, and preventing use of susanoo, leaving him wide open to universal pull and human path combo. If Sasuke managed to kill some of the Pains, the reviving path heals them. If he uses amaterasu on a Pain, preta path absorbs the flames consuming it while the revving one brings it back up. Thing is, Sasuke can only use amaterasu a handful of times and susanoo for a maximum of 10 minutes. At worst for Pain, he merely has to outlast him. Oh, by the way, almighty push would devastate susanoo.

Sasuke's so outclassed, it's not even funny.

Sasuke can take this if he has Manda/Aoda as summons, as he can pretty much one-shot any path who is not Tendo or Gakido, and he could use the summons to beat Gakido while he overwhelms Tendo with Susano'o arrows, without the summons he definitely loses as I don't see a way he can deal with Gakido.

Animal path won't be much because the dogs would be Sasuke only problem but he has Amaterasu which already one shotted them in cannon... Manda and Aoda will be way to much for the other Summonings... When Deva path use Basho Tenin he is open for a Amaterasu while he's on his 5sec interval or Sasuke could just put up his rib cage and block anything that comes at him either way it would be bad for Deva Path... The rest of the paths besides Preta will be one shotted... Preta path get's raped in a Taijutsu/Kenjutsu battle...

No it doesn't A>B>C logic would only apply if 2 people basically had the same ability like Itachi and Sasuke... SM Naruto and Ms Sasuke abilities are far to different to use that A>B>C logic here...

Remember, it took 3 boss toads+SM Naruto to take down Pain's summons. Also, Manda's not an option for MS Sasuke since Manda was dead when Sasuke got MS. Meaning only Aoda is a possibility. If you give him Manda or Manda 2, you're essentially giving Sasuke abilities he does not have.



Your assessment also assumes that the Pain's aren't going to be working together. For instance, Deva Path can simply repel susanoo whenever another Pain is in trouble, while it gets constantly bombarded by Asura Path or overwhelmed by animal path. There's also the fact that Preta path can act as a shield for at least one Pain.

Never said he would, I said it can deal with Gakido, not Chikushodo. Never said he summons multiple animals, as one summon would be enough to take care of Gakido. Again, I never said that he would use the summons to take care of Chikushodo, but Gakido, Sasuke one-shots any summons from Pain with Amaterasu, or he can one-shot Chikushodo along with any path besides Gakido or Tendo. Which is why I asked OP which summons he has in this scenario.

Not at all, all I said is that Pain's have no speed feats to dodge Amaterasu, only Gakido and Tendo have counters to it. The only Pain it can act as a shield for is himself unless he wants to die, and even if he does protect one Pain, this same Pain dies right after.
