One of them is put in Genjutsu to turn them against others. Human, Nakara, and Petra path are literally fodders and have no CQC feats at all, nor do they have any decent speed feats. Once Animal and Deva are out, Sasuke can simply speed blitz these paths and take them out.

Asura is killed with Chidori. If this strategy doesn't suffice then any path that gets near bar Petra is punched down and turned to a stain on the bridge. It's just that simple. Wrapping Enton around Susano'o would prove to be instant death for all paths bar Petra. I cannot see how Sasuke loses this.

Large snakes are essentially the same thing. But, they aren't required. With knowledge that the Animal path contains some of the more troublesome material and once defeated, all the summons go away. It's going to get shot down quickly with Amaterasu or some form of Enton.

How is he going to force Deva in to ST, and get Amaterasu in while he has 5 pains that can immediately jump him from the Amaterasu recharge rate?

Jman's 3 frogs were solo'd by the Cerebrus, Aoba is not taking on that let alone 2-3 other summons.

Pain's chakra goes in to the animal summonings, that's why they have Rinnegan eyes and black rods. Sasuke's genjutsu is not controlling them.

You're underestimating Preta, he's a key Pain among the 6th, you need to separate him to take on the other 5.

If Sauce gets Amaterasu off, he kills all but Deva and Preta. Those two easily jump him while he recharges from using the MS.

If Sauce gets Susano'o off, then he'll have to take out Deva so he can effectively kill every other Pain. But then Animal path can spam its summonings and overwhelm him.

If Sauce gets Susano'o off, and he goes for Animal path, then Deva still takes him out with BT and the fight ends.

Everything in Sasuke's arsenal is countered. If Sasuke was to stand a chance, he would have to retreat in the middle of the fight. That's not happening, they're fighting at Samurai bridge.

Except Sasuke can't spam powerful techniques like SM Naruto nor the complexity. The sheer number of summons, Asura attacks, and Deva Path abilities crushes any hope of Sasuke winning this.


Sasuke can be overrun by summons. If he uses amaterasu, he'll be cutting down his stamina, and preventing use of susanoo, leaving him wide open to universal pull and human path combo. If Sasuke managed to kill some of the Pains, the reviving path heals them. If he uses amaterasu on a Pain, preta path absorbs the flames consuming it while the revving one brings it back up. Thing is, Sasuke can only use amaterasu a handful of times and susanoo for a maximum of 10 minutes. At worst for Pain, he merely has to outlast him. Oh, by the way, almighty push would devastate susanoo.

Sasuke's so outclassed, it's not even funny.

Pain knows he has MS, so being Itachi's brother, he'd naturally assume he has amaterasu and susanoo. At the very least, amaterasu was well known outside of the akatsuke, so there's no reason to assume that Pain doesn't know about it. So, in other words, the only thing that would have been a threat with no intel he has intel on, and susanoo doesn't exactly require much intel to deal with. At least nothing Pain can't recover from. Read my previous posts about how Pain deals with Sasuke.

MS is different from user to user, ex : Itachi has Susano'o/Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi while Obito has Kamui and Shisui has KA.
