Perhaps it has nothing to do with host and donor component (as it was implied by Itachi) mingling since the chakra in brain causes the MS transformation and the donor eyes are supposed to retain powers from the owner which would logically lead to the host brain chakra to try and transform already powers MS as its own and thus forming a hybid ....... Such a explanation was never given. /sarcasm

I know what eye transplant means in the real world, but in this case it is a little different in naruto universe that is why it is a little suprising that sasuke and madara threw away their eyes. but if you guys say the eye socket secrets powerful chakra into the new transplanted ms to form ems then I agree like itachi's eye into sasuke,s head=ems cool=sasuke's former eye=wastebin cool.
