That was honestly such a stretch. The fact that Naruto nuked every Ootsutsuki member without reasoning is the biggest sin of the Naruto late-game. Even worse than the Madara backstab and War pacing.

The "Sage" of Six Paths who "advocated peace" lost all meaning when he let his own mother be trapped in an endless seal without even attempting to help her.
