When Itachi touched Sasuke's forehead and traced a bloody path down his face just to touch him one last time, as he knew he was meeting his end and would never get to see Sasuke again ... I really loathe Itachi, but that was the only time in the manga I felt teary eyed. The fact that he dragged himself, bleeding profusely from his mouth, stretching his arm out, even though he could barely see, shows his vehement desperation to touch his brother lovingly before he passes on.
It really gave the scene a tactile intensity like no other in the manga. It was backed even more by Sasuke's empty expressions - he didn't know what to feel. He looked like a ghost that had just accomplished his greatest mission and yet, nothing at the same time. Brilliant stuff. Haku and Zabuza's death, along with Yahiko and Nagato were heart-wreching as well.
I didn't feel much for Konan, because of her petty speeches and Jiraiya's death along with Minato and Kushina's weren't impactful for me at all. Didn't even feel a slight pang of ruefulness.
