I was wondering who is the most poweful Hokage.....
Ya I mean all of them lived in different eras etc but still who....3rd did beat first and second when oro revived them naa...But everyone has reason to believe that first and second were not at full strength...

and ya tsunade probably weakest i guess..whats your opinion guys...sorry if there has been a thread earlier...I am new here

i think first because he beat up madara while minato couldn't have (do u guys REALLY think minato beat madara with one rasengan? he retreated because there was no reason to stay if the battle would have lasted longer i bet madara would have won IMO. Also 1st was fighting fox that was helping madara, the 4th didn't he kinda just fought madara while ninetailz in distance)
as for 3rd, it said OLD so i doubt he could beat 4th or 1st maybe in his prime he would do better...

There was an interview a while back with kishimoto and he was asked the question on who is the most powerful hokage, past and present and he said either minato or hiruzenm with the latter probably winning in the end. Though this was years back and things have changed since then in terms of showing the hokage's skills. To be honest, there is no real proof to show who's the best hokage cause we've never seen them at full potential, or will we ever. Answers in this thread is just speculation though Hiruzen was deemed God of shinobi, a title that wouldn't be given out to anyone... They didn't call the previous three hokage's 'god' so Hiruzen must of been one hell of a fighter back in his prime.

don't see how its fair to compare the old sarutobi to the young 1st and 4th, if they were all the same age mid20s or w/e age minato was at when the fox attacked the 3rd is the strongest, but if you really wanna compare the 62 year old to the 20 and 30 year olds then yes the 4th wins.
