Who do you think is the most overrated character in Naruto and why?

kakashi, i say this as a part of latest gai vs kakashi thread, i gave a lot of prooves that gai wins and people still voted kakashi cause they are fan boys/girls. i like kakashi a lot more than gai, but i know that kakashi´s kamui can´t catch gai with 7 gates

Naruto...his so called "super speed" is one example..people have seen him one time moving like really fast and that was in the manga so there's no way of saying how fast he really went..but anyway now everyone's saying he's like the new Yellow Flash lol

Minato is another one..many people (like Ganjababy) are saying he's the greatest ninja of all time..they do not accept any "proves" that say otherwise..I have no problem against Minato but the hype that fanboys create is just toooo much

Well said again...people could think he's overrated by others...I just don't think we even see most of what he's capable of in the manga...he can use so many jutsu, yet we don't see very many. I don't know we just don't see him really test his limits in the manga...the only time was in the battle against Pein and then he had to save Choji in order to secure the info...just like Jaraiya-sama.

just imo, but I think,,,as far as the manga is concerned Kakashi is very understated. But maybe youre right and he's gonna get his butt kicked by Sasuke...which still wouldn't make him overrated imo because Sasuke and Naruto are probably the two most powerful characters in the manga.

ahh ganja is such a grouch...Minato is pretty B.A. too, but you could be right since we haven't gotten to see him do anything much. He did take out the fox single handed though...which is kind of a big deal...I mean nobody else could do that.

Imo I think pain is highly overrated
1. His power isn't even the rinnegan that's gives his opponents trouble. It's the fact that he uses six bodies.
2. Konohamaru defeated a pain.-_-

I don't see why u guys think kakashi is overrated, he gets put in the most unfair situation and still able to give who ever he's fight the work.

Well, what he did was sacrifice himself to seal the fox so he didn't even kill it and he got himself killed. So at most it's a tie, not a win for Minato.

Secondly Hashirama owned Madara and Kyuubi at the sametime so there's the answer to your last statement.
