Baby and Child. They can't fend for nor protect themselves.

The reason (I think) people are choosing the baby is because the baby has the most potential in the world, and saw the least of it. Letting that one die, and others live would be unfair towards the baby more than the child or the adult, the baby wouldn't have even gotten a chance to live and it'd be considered unfair to let others live who have already seen at least some of what's out in the world.

Of course, I could be completely wrong :3. I choose the baby of course.

That baby does not have fully developed brain.

And in the future , that baby might find out , that he/she was chosen , and other people died.

That may cause the baby too have a trauma in the near future and feel depressed for the rest of hes life.

---------------------------

If that Child was a once in a century Prodigy = Then he would most likely contripute more to the society = than the baby who will have mental issues in the future.

--------------------------

If that Adult was a grown up Prodigy = Who had just found a way how to cure cancer = then this would be the top priority = Since with hes knowledge it would be possible too save millions.

We cant make assumptions based on current time > One needs too see in the future to make that choice.

There is no thing as morals , one who has greater knowledge , can be free of morals.

One who is light years ahead of someone by their knowledge is not bound to earthly human morals.

Wat cease to excist , will cease to excist.

In the longer term it does not matter , if you are baby, child, adult = you still are a potential threat to the Nature and this planet.

One is not born with morals = One is bound to morals as he/she is growing up and is grasping the world and how he/she treats the world and how the world treats that person.

Morals are not Universal , we can see different nations/tribes/countries/religions with their own set of pretetermined morals by their enviorment and their attributes.

One who can see over the Illusion called "morals" can be free of them and set hes own path too follow without the need of morals one can achieve true enlightment, true knowledge of the Universe.

Baby can not hang to a building so it is out of question.
I will call for help for the Adult as he can hang to the building for some time till the help arrives so let him be there.
I will save the child. :)

I would save the adult and get them to help me save the child and baby. Dont know if i break the rules here, but me and the adult could save the other 2 and everyone lives

People Pick the Baby because it has More time to Live than the Others.

It's like Picking an Old person to Live who only has 10Years at best Over a Child who have 60 or So more Years.

id choose the child. he would be more grateful and the baby wouldt remember a thing. think of it as a late abortion. and screw the adult he/she had a life and should of known better than to hang out on the edge of cliffs

Three people are hanging off a collapsing building who do you choose?

A: The Baby
B: The Child
C: The Adult
D: None of the above

WHY?!!
Baby is the easiest for me to pick up xd

Seriously, either the child or the baby. Like others said, a younger person hasn't lived life. An adult has. It's all sad, but saving a new life is the best choice in my opinion.

Depends....if the Adult is young like 18-30 I'd pick the adult 'cause he/she can live by themselves and has the same chances of having babies as the child and baby.

The baby an the child would have the same potential for the future, as for the adult he already made an impact and lived that's why none choose him i guess.
Actually the logic choice is to save the child, as he's already conscious and knows death and fear...etc the baby wouldn't suffer of such emotional chock and dying for him would be just easy stuff :d
Adult would also fear, death + we don't know if he has children and family so saving him would be saving others...
F*ck that choice, I'would bring Gon from HunterXHunter to answer it as he did in that test but i cant

All of them. :T_T:

But since I can pick only one...it would most likely be the child.

I choose the adult, we're having too many babies already, and kids are annoying. The adult could be working on the next cure for AIDS or something.

i would choose the baby because the adult has obviously lived a decent stretch of life and the child has at the very least lived for a short while whereas the baby has literally just began life and hasn't yet lived it because it's only a baby it deserves a chance to live a full and happy life, i know that the child does as well but at least he/she got to live SOME life. i think that the adult and child honestly should be able to pull themselves up on their own because they actually have motor skills the baby can only fall and then wait to die which it doesn't even realize. i feel like if i were to attempt saving the adult he/she would say to save the baby, if attempt to save the child they would gladly accept but later feel remorse about the baby so in my opinion the baby is the right choice

ok after reading what houseem said i think i would actually pick the child because the child actually knows and fears the fact that it is about to die but the baby has no clue what's going on so in the moment seeing the fear in the child's eyes would probably lead me to choose him/her, although i still firmly believe that unless this child is obese they should be able to climb up on their own but since they can't i'll save them

I'd try to save all of them. If I could only save one, I don't think I'd be able to do it.. I wouldn't be able to save only one and let the other two people die... but if I had to choose one life instead of leaving all three of them which is much crueller then it would be the baby's life I would save. The baby has had the least amount of time in the world and hasn't been alive as long as the child and adult. But I would definately try to find a way to save all three people first.

I'm seeing a bunch of you talking about saving the adult so you can both save the children, and it's getting kind of annoying >.<

The situation is irrelevant to what he's asking. The question at hand is asking about your morals, not the logical thing to do in that situation (Call 911, try to catch kid + baby because they're lighter etc etc) it's about if you were in the situation in which you had 3 people in front of you who were about to die REGARDLESS OF HOW and you had the opportunity to save one of them, (baby, child, adult) who'd it be?

I'll restate my answer just to stay on topic. I'd choose the baby. Killing the baby would be heartless, those of you saying "think of it as a late abortion" I think the parents would think differently >.>.. I couldn't go through killing another person who doesn't even have a say in if they live or not, I'd be robbing them of their life. Yes, you could say that about the child and adult. But they've experienced the world, and depending on how they interpret their near-death experience, they could potentially become depressed/insane. Meanwhile the baby who hasn't developed a sense of memory or awareness would go through his life being unaffected by that event. Of course there are multiple things that could go wrong with my theory, but regardless.

Oh, and another thing. Someone (forgot who) mentioned morals being an illusion of lower intelligence. You couldn't decipher a whole persons intelligence in a split second just by looking at them, that's impossible. If you believe otherwise, you're ignorant.
