Momoshiki plot nerf!

We all know Naruto and sasuke was nerfed hard against momoshiki but damn, kishi nerfed to the max.

Naruto fought opponents where ninjutsu wasn't an option, take nagato(pain) for example. Against momoshiki it was the perfect time for frog kumite or gudodama weapons.

Like why have Naruto go Kurama Chakra Mode with Rikudou Sage Mode but not use any awesome techniques?

Same ordeal with sasuke, why give him EMS and Rinnegan only to have him not use any paths or sharingan abilities?

Preta path and deva path could've came handy on numerous occasions throughout the fight. What happened to chibaku tensei or lighting infused kusanagi?

Probably wasn't needed at that point. For naruto to use his RSM abilities, he'll need to gather some natural energy. And all Sasuke used with his Rinnean was Amenotejakra.
Boruto was there so they probably had to old back a little bit too.

All have to say is Sasuke's hair got a major buff, who gets incinerated alive and thier hair takes no damage by not being burned off also?

If you watched the movie you'd realize they couldn't use ninjutsu, otherwise momoshiki would neg them. Taijutsu is a powerful force in itself, might gai proves that. The thing you guys don't realize is the only reason momoshiki got rekt was because they used kyuubi and susanoo mode, and that still didn't finish him. After the battle they were both tired and Momoshiki was about to obliterate Naruto. How was momoshiki supposed to figure that boruto would take out the eye on his hand? Boruto was essentially an ant in comparison to him. Thats why he couldn't absorb the rasengan. Momoshiki would have won.
