Momoshiki is however somewhere in the ball park though. He is actually kind of like a watered down Kaguya in a way. He showed some similar nature manipulation to Kaguya, but not on a massive scale like Kaguya's. He can also traverse dimensions like Kaguya.

All in all, he has some similar abilities to Kaguya, but he is not at her level.

He could probably beat the juubi though (absorbing its bijuudama and launching it back at him, or even just absorbing the juubi itself).

I don't think that was a base rasengan, adult base naruto's chakra isn't that big. He would need senjutsu or kurama's chakra to make a rasengan of that size.
You also have to remember that they destroyed his Rinnegan too. If Kaguya had her forehead sharingan destroyed too, would she get defeated by that rasengan?

VOTE 2 Naruto and Sasuke at their full power back then would have slapped the shit out of Momoshiki's fodder ass

The idea that Momoshiki is weak because he got killed by a normal Rasengan is flawed. The Rasenshurikens Naruto threw at Kaguya was way weaker than the Rasengan in the Boruto movie. She would have been obliterated if the same Rasengan Momoshiki got killed by was used on her.

Furthermore, Momoshiki nearly killed Sasuke twice. Once when he caught him in Chibaku tensei. The other time when he reacted to his Ameno (something Naruto couldn't do) and kicked him into the God Tree.

Naruto nearly died when he got caught by Momoshiki's shadow possession jutsu. Chakra rods were stuck in him so there was nothing he could do. Kurama wouldn't be able to save him that time.

Factually, Momoshiki came closer to killing Naruto and Sasuke than Kaguya ever did. He might not be immortal, but he's stronger in every other possible way.

I have no idea on why, but from what I learned is that there's different types of ways you can exploit absorption abilities while using ninjutsu. Examples would be edo Madara and Nagato.

-With edo madara's edo rinnegan he needs to put up his left hand to absorb ninjutsus but he can't absorb chakra away from people like Nagato can. When Madara was kicked by kyubi cloak Lee, he was unable to absorb the cloak and was bisected by Lee's enhanced kick.
-Nagato on the other hand can absorb any chakra and chakra ninjutsu without any hand gesture because he creates a small barrier around his body. What he can't do is absorb solid ninjutsus such as a shadow clone jutsu, only Kaguya showed such feats

My assumption is that Kaguya can't absorb too many ninjutsus hitting from every directions and it requires some type of train of thought to absorb a ninjutsu. Look at how long it took her to absorb amatersu, the jutsu hit her first before she absorbed it. That's just my observation.

Yeah I'm aware that he was able to absorb chakra without the rinnegan eyes because that's the power of Uchiha and Senju working together. He even told Hashirama about it and that was the six path jutsu he taught Obito in the cave. Obito did the same thing to Kakashi too.

You're talking about two different absorption powers here. The alive Madara who didn't have the rinnegan used this
