I've always thought when humans died there soles were tranfered into another sperm cell that converts the memories of that person sole to contribute to there physical form.
I agree with the respect part.
But, it's natural for a child to question things, if the child doesn't, you should be worried.
Everything needs an explanation, i believe.

Agree,I was like that when I was 12
But in my later teen years,I started to understand more and experience things that help me strengthen my faith in god.
Like one of my beliefs are (and I was surprise that the priest at my church said it a year ago ) that God gave us the choice to believe in him or not. We are not puppets under his control and we each have our own destiny to fulfill.
Theres more but I wont bore you with it.
Just some people choose to be close minded while others need time to see what lays before them.
I went through many things that cause me to not believe in God at first. In fact I probably hated the thought of a being at the age of 12 (due to the fact that I've been bullied and seen things that no child should see at a young age).
But that probably changed when I was nearly hit by a truck going 50 mph, when people I know told me what they saw when they died and came back to life, etc.
I guess it's ok for a child to question things.
Edit:
Kinda how nothing "mysteriously" make something (atoms, etc) xd
Hey NB members,
This morning my mom offered for me to go to church with her, now, my mom KNOWS i don't believe in religion, so I gave her a long stare, and politely said "No, you know I don't do religion".
She gave me a serious look and was like "You know what, I'm going to pray for you"...please, that fear won't work on me anymore.
I went down stairs and she started telling me how "I'm going to hell" blah blah blah...(A lot of arguing about the plausibility of the bible) And threatened to kick me out for not believing in her religion.
In the end, the fear she tried to instill within me...was ineffective. I've already experienced religion, and broke free from the invisible shackles that oppressed me!
I love my mom, and yes, I do believe in God, but not the god religious people worship. I have beliefs, but not something that could be considered a religion.
I believe that we and everything that exists are ALL god, we have control over our own destinies, and the only person who could punish us for our wrong doing are ourselves...and karma.
We're here to EXIST, not live in a box fearing the day that "Jesus" will come and take some of us away, and leave the rest to suffer...
What's your view on religious parents, do you feel their upbringing is extremely rigid and oppressive, or it's good to have religious parents, and you love religion.
Saying "I'm going to pray for you." should not make you fearful lol.
Anyways you are wrong in your beliefs.
Hehe...can you explain WHY?
Don't make a statement, and not provide evidence supporting it.
By her saying "I'm going to pray for you" is implying that I'm on my way to "hell"
you completely ignored the point, and therefore sound ignorant.
Enjoy the ignorance that you created for yourself, boy.
You are wrong in your beliefs because the Bible says so. It is that simple.
I understood what she meant and I did not ignore any point. I just decided to get strait to the point I would have made if I did a long post which I have done in at least a dozen posts in the past on this site. Those of which you might be able to find. Some cannot be found since the base changed it's look not to long ago.
This logic, right here, is one of the MANY reasons people are abandoning Christianity! If you do not believe everything in the Bible is true then you should not call yourself a Christian in the first place.
What I said, is proven by SCIENCE! Not true
Everything is made up of energy, we are energy, we are god. Just because we are made of energy does not mean we are God.
GOD is energy! VERY simple concept!
You STILL have failed to even provide any evidence! Your entire post, and grammar, tells me how little you know, sorry to say!
The bible(Something I don't believe in) doesn't determine whether something is wrong or right! It contradicts itself, and holds no credibility! The Bible does not contradict itself.
You are not handling this "discussion" in a very nice manner so this will be my last reply.
Saying "I'm going to pray for you." should not make you fearful lol.
Anyways you are wrong in your beliefs.
