You came up with more than expected. Well done.
(Mokuton: Moku Henge) - Wood Style: Wood Transformation
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10 (-5 per turn to keep active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: By focusing chakra and performing the Bird → Dog → Snake hand seals, the user makes wood pillars sprout from the ground and cover his whole body, while using chakra to cover it with precision to produce the desired effect. By covering the wood with his chakra the user is able to transform it into another shape or form with increased detail, by using his wood chakra. This is used to create an effect similar to the transformation technique but to a higher degree of detail and realism.

Okay, the next one will be the most verstalie jutsu you will come along with the Greater Wood Style technique. This is the most basic technique of Mokuton. It's basically the core, that branches out to the rest.

Basically, gather the two chakras, clasps your hands together and focus your chakra throughout your body, and create wood from the ground, or water source. OR, even from your body. Tell me some Pros and Cons here.

Wow, that was fast. o_O :D

Once more, I gather Suiton and Doton chakra, and clasp my hands together, and as before, I focus my chakra throughout my body.
Then, I send my chakra towards the ground, after which I shape manipulate it to form some blocks of wood.

Pros:
  • Very versatile technique.
  • Pretty effective in battles, as even being a simple D-Ranked tech, the user can escape from dangerous attacks by manipulating wood to his choice(by that I mean rising pillars from beneath his legs to elevate his position, etc).
  • The user can create wood from the body, a water source, or from the ground, hence it can be even used on a dry terrain.
Cons:
  • Being a D-Ranked tech, it is vulnerable to simple lightning and cutting wind jutsus.
  • Again the rank comes into play, as it's only a D-Ranked tech, it doesn't have much durability and is pretty weak.

(Mokuton No Jutsu) - Wood Style Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defense
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Creates small wood pillars or trees to trap, defend, or fight with. These can be created from the users own body or from the ground.

Okay, heres the two next techniques;

The first consists of simply causing a pillar to erupt beneath your opponent, lifting him into the air. Considering theres damage on the technique, we can assume he is forcefully hit and lifted by the motion of the pillar rising.

The second, consists of a mix of taijutsu and wood release. After dealing several blows and kicks to your opponent, point one palm down, which from you extend a wood pillar. The pillar will impact the ground and send you airborne up and above your target. Perform a drop kick to his chin on your way down.

As usual, I gather Suiton and Doton chakra together, and mix these two chakras. I then, send my chakra towards the opponent's position, shape manipulating my chakra to form a wood pillar, which rises beneath him, lifting him into the air, inflicting damage, and loss of balance.

I first, warm up my body and stretch properly. Then, once ready, I run towards my opponent, and outstretch my arms to inflict several punches on him, and then outstretch my legs to inflict kicks. As I continue this motion of punches and kicks, I gather Suiton and Doton chakra in my body and point out my palm downwards, sending my chakra towards the ground, beneath me, shape manipulating it to make a wooden pillar rise beneath me, which lifts me into air. I then jump towards my opponent, in an angular position, as I outstretch my right leg, aiming precisely towards his chin, which causes him to fly off and fall on the ground.

Ah yes.

1st tech:

Pros:
1)Requires no handseals to perform.
2)Lifts the opponent into the air, hence making him lose balance as well as making him vulnerable to attacks.
3)This technique can be used on a slightly smaller scale by the user on himself to avoid attacks.

Cons:
1)The technique can be negated by sending lightning into the ground.
2)Even if the opponent is lifted into mid-air, he can use Wind stream to change his direction in air and avoid any further attacks(so one of the pros mentioned is a double edged sword).

2nd tech:

Pros:
1)The tech has the advantage of Taijutsu as well as the power of a drop kick.
2)Deadly attacks can be folllowed up after the drop kick, as the opponent is sent flying and he's vulnerable in mid-air.

Cons:
1)The opponent can avoid the drop kick and due to the gravity, the user's attack is directed toward the ground, injuring his leg.
2)The wood pillar can be easily torn apart by Raiton.

If the dropkick is done recklessly, yes. yes.
( Mokuton: Mokuchū Noboru ) - Wood Release: Wood Pillar Climb
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their wood natured chakra to create a pillar of wood rise up beneath the opponent lifting them into the air.

( Mokuton: Mokuchū Sora Kikku ) - Wood Release: Wood Sky Kick
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will attack the opponent multiple times with several punches and kicks before turning their left arm into wood that extends out into a small pillar and pointing towards the ground and then lifting them towards the opponent where they finish them with a kick to the chin lifting them into the air.

Using the premises of the Mokuton no Jutsu, you learned before the previous two, simply from your hand extend a chunk of wood which you then shape manipulate into a the shape of a round shield. This can be removed at any point or retracted back in. Now, add extra chakra into this one to harness it, making it more durable than your everyday mokuton so far.

Gathering Suiton and Doton chakra, I mix them in equal ratio, thereby creating Mokuton chakra. I then channel this chakra into my hand, wherein I manipulate my chakra to form a chunk of wood, which extends from my hand, which I shape manipulate to form a round shield. I then add extra chakra to it, to make it more durable.

Pros:
1)Good for defense purposes.
2)Requires no handseals, so the technique is pretty quick to perform.
3)Due to the extra chakra channeled, it has more durability than an average shield.

Cons:
1)A C-Ranked Lightning technique can pierce through the shield with ease, hence injuring the user.
2)The shield only covers the front part of the user, i.e. the user is vulnerable to external attacks from all other sides.

( Mokuton: Sanoru Moku Tate ) - Wood release: Threefolds Wood Shield
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user forms a shield of wood, which consists of three round parts out of his hand. The shield is very durable and can be removed and reconditioned any time the user wants to.

*Shows hand signs Snake → Rat → Ox → Ram → Snake* Perform these followed by clapping either of your palms onto the ground, amassing the gathered chakra into the ground and forcefully cause a rectangular shaped formation of pillars to erupt. Have them reach up high, and extend towards the centre, and eventually combine. Thereafter by using shape manipulation if not simualtaneously, form the entity into a Japaneese styled house.

Gathering Mokuton chakra, I perform the Snake → Rat → Ox → Ram → Snake handseals in conjunction which manipulates my chakra. I then clap my right hand onto the ground, and send my chakra towards it. This forcefully causes a rectangular shaped formation of pillars to erupt. I make them reach high and combine towards the centre. Next, I perform shape manipulation on it, to form a Japanese styled house.

Pros:
1)This can be used as a good defense.
2)Also, this can serve as stealth, as the user can hide behind the house he has created and prepare attacks or counters.

Cons:
1)Simple C Rank lightning destroys the house
2)It has no offensive purposes whatsoever.
3)Requires 5 handseals to perform.

I gather Suiton and Doton chakra in the same ratio, as I proceed to mix them together. This forms Mokuton chakra. Next, I perform the handseals you show me and send chakra towards the ground. I then shape manipulate the sent chakra to form into a wooden prison of sorts.

Pros:
1)Great for NW. Can be used to trap multiple opponents.
2)It is pretty difficult to destroy the cage.
3)The user can form a small cage or a very large cage, it's upto to the user.
4)The best time to use the technique would be to drain the opponent beforehand and then trap him.

Cons:
1)It doesn't deal damage to the opponent, can only be used to trap him.
2)It can destroyed with a high ranked Lightning Release technique.

Superb.
(Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu) - Wood Style: Four Pillars Prison
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Ox → Boar → Snakeconverts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly, while forming it into a wooden prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates.

I will now be posting the next two techniques;
(Mokuton: Moku Hinoki) - Wood Style: Wood of the Japanese Cypress
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: User creates a wooden pillar that surges at the enemy from below, sending the opponent into the air. As the opponent is airborne, the user creates a second pillar from his arm and slams the enemy from above with it, sending him crushing into the ground pillar.

Pretty simple and straight forward. Pillar from below your opponent. Jump, smack him down with a pillar of wood extended from your arm.

(Mokuton: Moku no Sutokuu Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Stocks Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will create a set of wooden stocks that will then entrap the target binding their movement.

These were used on Kisame, which he invetieably broke free from. Pretty simply and straight forward as well, a simple restrainment technique.

Pros nd cons?

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack from my East Coast trip. U_U

I gather raw chakra in my body, as it gushes through my system, making me feel energized and fresh. I focus on it, meditating deeply on an image of Niagara Falls ( o_O, Niagara was brilliant. *_* ), the greatest waterfall in the world, rushing through the mountains, falling with tremendous force.
It looked pure and felt gentle. The beauty of nature, a true marvel. Water. Flowing calmly like the wind or as rough as the hurricane, Water had it's own uniqueness. Ah, nostalgia. One could just sit beside it and admire it forever. Slowly and gradually, as I calm myself down, I convert my raw chakra into Suiton based chakra, I feel my chakra getting smooth. And then came Doton.

Repeating essentially the same process, I gather raw chakra once more, focusing on the properties of Earth. Rough, uneven, unpredictable and hard. What was the world without Mother Earth? Abused and misused to a very high extent, yet it remained as it was. Forgiving humans for their misdeeds. Once more, as I maintain my thoughts, simultaneously, I gradually convert my raw, unmanipulated chakra into Doton chakra, as I feel my chakra getting hard and rather rough.

I proceed to mix both these chakra natures, in equal ratio, with almost no effort, as Mokuton chakra is formed as a result. I then channel my chakra outwards, shape manipulating it to form a wooden pillar beneath the opponent, as the sudden force and power of the pillar lifts him into mid-air. I then jump just right above him and perform the same procedure essentially, as this time I sprout a wooden pillar out of my arm, with which I slam the opponent into the first wooden pillar I created.

Pros:
-Requires no handseals, thus is quite fast to perform
-The user slams the opponent onto the first wood pillar created, and not the ground, hence the damage dealt is more
-Something clever would be to ignite the first pillar when the opponent is sent flying downwards, so that he's burnt severely.
-This technique can be partially used on oneself, by sprouting a wood pillar beneath one's legs, however, of lesser size and power, to avoid oncoming attacks.

Cons:
-Very simple to evade, i.e. once the user is sent airborne, a D-Ranked wind tech like Wind Stream could enable him to change the direction of his flight mid-air and avoid the thrust of the second pillar.
-C-B Rank lightning sent onto the ground could easily destroy the pillars, as well as a high ranked Lightning tech could be sent towards the pillar and then it would continue towards the opponent from beneath and thus electrocute him.

Once more, I gather Suiton and Doton chakra in equal ratios and mix them, thus forming Mokuton chakra. I then nature manipulate my chakra into Wood chakra and shape manipulate it to create stocks of wood which encase the opponent, trapping him, and restraining his movements.

Pros:
-No handseals required
-Quite fast to form the wooden stocks
-Simple enough technique to perform and works quickly to restrain the opponent and doesn't consume much chakra to perform it.

Cons:

-No offensive or defensive purposes, is only a supplementary technique.
-Easy to destroy it, lightning channeled towards it would crumble it completely.

o_O Wrote more than I thought. :coffee:

Excellent.
Next two
(Mokuton: Moku Ibara Ringu no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Spike Ring Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a semi-circle of wood around a captured target, and then form spikes within the ring, pointing at the said target, preventing them from making any sudden movements.

This is rather, uhm... Not the best technique created. If trapped, or merely standing on teh ground you can forcefully cause an semi-circle to erupt consisting of two pillars which bent crescently formed around him. They nearly close beside at at the top, and along the pillars spikes emit making it so, that if he moves to either side he will pierce himself.

(Mokuton: Yarijurin no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Spear Forest Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create two tendrils of wood release from their arms in a pushing motion that spins around each other into the target

Very much like the Great Forest technique you will learn later, this one consists of using one of your arms to emit two thick pillars. These shoot forward while interlacing with one another drilling into the opponent and pushing him away with blunt and brute force forcefully damaging him and pushing him away from you.

I gather my physical and spiritual energies together, molding un-altered chakra in it's purest form. As I mold chakra, I alter it's nature to make my chakra freeflowing and liquidy, forming Suiton chakra. After that, I perform elemental recomposition on my chakra to form Water based chakra in my left hand. I repeat the same process, and this time, I alter it's nature to make it rough and uneven, forming Doton chakra. Similarly, I perform elemental recomposition on it, to form Earth in my right hand. I then proceed to mix these chakras together, i.e. simultaneously controlling them together to form Wood chakra as I channel this chakra towards my right hand. As Wood is emitted from my right hand, I perform spatial recomposition on it, to reshape the wood into two semi-circular pillars encasing the trapped opponent, as spikes emerge from it, preventing the opponent from escaping.

Advantages:
Requires no handseals to perform, so it's quite fast. The semi-circular wood with spikes emerging from it, prevents the target from escaping, so it's quite handy, once the target is already out of chakra. Techs like Earth Flow Wave could be used to prevent his legs from moving, thereby trapping him even more.

Disadvantages:
Well, a burst of chakra like Lightning Armor/Nagashi/Hardening Technique can destroy the wood pillars easily. Also, the opponent may escape underground using Hiding Like A Mole Tech. Also, it has no real offensive uses or defensive uses and is only limited to short range of the user, so is quite ineffective in mid-ranged battles.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will create two tendrils of wood release from their arms in a pushing motion that spins around each other into the target.

Alright, I gather un-altered and pure chakra in my body, as it flows through the 361 points in my body. I then, alter the nature of my chakra and thereby gather Suiton chakra in my left hand and Doton chakra in the right, performing elemental recomposition on them to change them into Water and Earth respectively. I then mix these chakras together, i.e. I simultaneously control the flow of both chakra natures together, as I form Mokuton chakra. I then channel it to my hand, and perform spatial recomposition on it to change it's shape to form two wooden pillars which emerge from my hand, as they go side by side, in a spinning motion, as they proceed to drill the opponent, inflicting damage and pushing him back.

Advantages:
This is a smaller version of the Great Forest tech, and it's pretty impressive. Requires no handseals to perform and the wood pillars emerge quite fast from the user's hand. Also, it extends upto mid-range, which is great. The wood pillars travel with a very fast motion, inflicting damage on the opponent, and they have enough force to push the opponent back. This is actually quite useful, if the user has set some traps beforehand, and could push the opponent into it, or if the user is fighting outside a cave, he could well enough push the opponent towards the cave, thus gaining benefit with his Earth Release techniques. Pretty good for silent infiltration, as this doesn't make a big ruckus.

Disadvantages:
Well, the technique is only a smaller version of the Great Forest Technique, so it doesn't carry as much force as it. Also it only pushes the opponent back and inflicts some damage, nothing very major. Lightning Armor and Earth Armor would easily defend from the wood pillars.

(Mokuton: Narande jurin no jutsu) - Wood Release: Lined Forest Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30

Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid

Pretty straight forward, both of them. Perform, pro & cons, questions?

Alright. I gather my physical and spiritual energies together, molding chakra, which rushes through the 361 points in the chakra pathway system. Next, I harden my chakra, whilst imagining a terrain of Earth, thus forming Earth based chakra in one hand, which is hard and irregular as I elementally recompose my Earth based chakra to form Earth. Simultaneously, I make the chakra in the other hand, liquidy and smooth whilst repeating the same process of imagining a water source, eventually forming Water based chakra, elementally recomposing it to Water. I then combine both of these chakra natures in such a ratio that it forms a new chakra nature - Wood Release. With the newly formed Wood chakra, I channel it towards the ground and 'punch' the air around me, as two wood blocks grow from the ground, which I spatially recompose to form them into intertwining tendrils. The formed tendrils emerge and strike the target, lifting him into the air a few feet.

Pros:
Pretty basic technique. Requires no handseals to perform, as well as the tendrils emerge quickly, striking the target. The tendrils strike the target inflicting some damage as well as lift him into the air, making him vulnerable to external attacks. Pretty handy when used on oneself on a smaller scale, to avoid oncoming attacks.

Cons:
One can sense a change in the Earth when the Wood emerges from the ground, so it's easy to nullify the attack by sending electricity into the ground. Even if the opponent is struck by the tendrils and lifted into the air, he can use a simple Wind jutsu to change his direction of flight in mid-air, as well as take the advantage and use Fire jutsus and what not which require one to be in mid-air already. Also, the range is only limited upto 5 meters, so quite an OK tech, nothing really special.

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates three large pillars errupt from the ground beneath the target and lifting them into the air.

Repeating the same procedure, I gather Earth and Water based chakra in each of my hands, and mix them in such a ratio that Wood based chakra is formed. Then, I elementally recompose my chakra to form Wood and direct my Wood chakra toward the ground, around the target, as I spatially recompose it to form three giant pillars of Wood which emerge from the ground in high speed and lift him into the air.

Pros:
Well, requires no handseals, so quite fast. As well as, the pillars are gigantic, so the damage inflicted is more, and as usual the opponent is vulnerable to attacks in mid-air, as well they are more in number, and due to a larger impact, the target is lifted further into the air compared to the previous technique. Also, as three pillars emerge, the total area of the impact is quite large compared to a single pillar erupting which only targets a specific portion of the body. This could be used on oneself wherein, a large attack like Great Fire Destruction is launched towards the user.

Cons:
As before, it's quite simple to escape by sensing the change in the Earth and also the pillars get destroyed by channeling B-Rank Raiton onto them, destroying them into pieces.

I have a question. Is chakra simply channeled onto the ground and pillars created? I ask because the technique is very vague in it's description.

I should give you more credit. o.o''
Well, to answer your question. I don't see how else it should work, other than using the accumulated chakra you stored, and unleashing it throughout your body and into the ground, thus causing wooden pillars to emerge. You could compare it to any earth jutsu, really, more or less.

Now, we should move onto the next batch of techniques.

Again very straight forward. Yet, hard to execute, considering that punches are often blocked in one way or another, mind you.
( Mokuton: Moku Shishoushō ) - Wood Release: Wood Stabbing Pillar
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: Yamato first strikes the opponent with a series of punches and kicks leading to Yamato jumping into the air and releasing from his palm, a spear of wood that is directed into the opponent and driving them into the ground.

Very, uhm.. Mundane, as some of the rest. I reckon that most can actually be formed through the very basic core technique, being just Mokuton no Jutsu, where upon, your most used wood technique will be Greater Wood Style, once we get there. Reminds me, we'll enter B-ranks after this.
( Mokuton: Keimusho no Jutsu ) - Wood Release: Prison Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a spiraling pillar of wood rise up from the ground and surround the opponent restraining them in place.
Pro, cons, etc. Questions?

Description: Yamato first strikes the opponent with a series of punches and kicks leading to Yamato jumping into the air and releasing from his palm, a spear of wood that is directed into the opponent and driving them into the ground.

I stretch my body a little and warm up for a while. Placing my left foot forward and right foot back, I look at one of the targets closely, observing his body carefully and his stance. Once ready, I quickly run towards him, and as I reach him, I come to a sudden halt with the force of my legs. Using the motion, I turn slightly left and outstretch my arms and proceed to execute some quick punches aimed at his chest, abdomen and head region. After the quick execution of punches, I jump backwards, balancing myself solely on my hands, using the force to outstretch my legs and deal some quick kicks at the target's knee, abdomen and chest region. I deal one final kick, performing a rising uppercut on his chin, jumping immediately above him. In mid-air, I quickly gather Mokuton chakra in my hands, elementally recomposing it to Wood, after which I spatially recompose the Wood to form a pillar like shape, which emerges from my hand, as I jump below, outstretching my hand to drive the target into the ground using the power and force of the Wood pillar.

Pros:
Um, if performed quickly, this technique is quite effective. Best if performed with a Moku Bunshin. Once the opponent is busy countering the punches and kicks of the clone, the original body can jump above him fast and pummel him down. Best if used as a feint attack. Pretty good if followed up with an Earth jutsu or a Raiton jutsu to finish off the opponent, as he slowly gets up. The chakra used for forming the pillar, as well as the downward gravitational force increase the overall power and force of the pillar. Finally, requires no weaving of handseals, so is quite fast in it's execution.

Cons:
As it's a Taijutsu+Mokuton move, the pillar is formed and only extends upto short range, which is overall quite mediocre. One thing you also mentioned was that it's quite easy to counter the punches and kicks, so not that great. Also, it's a single pillar, so it doesn't deal much damage to the opponent. Quite easy to defend using another Wood pillar or a small wooden dome.

Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a spiraling pillar of wood rise up from the ground and surround the opponent restraining them in place.

I mix my physical and spiritual energies together in the right ratio to mold chakra, which rushes through the 361 points in my chakra pathway system. Every inch of my body feels lively as the rush of chakra makes me feel alive and fresh. Mimicing the nature of Water, I alter the nature of my chakra in my left hand, by making it free-flowing and smooth, same as the exact nature of fresh Water - Water natured chakra aka Suiton Essentially repeating the same procedure, I alter the nature of my chakra in my right hand, by making it hard, uneven and rough, as a new feeling is felt by me, this was Earth natured chakra aka Doton. After this, I simultaneously combine both chakra natures, as a new chakra nature is formed - Wood natured chakra - Mokuton. Gathering this newly formed chakra in a good amount, I channel it toward the ground, elementally recomposing it to form Wood and as the wood emerges from the ground, I spatially recompose it to form a pillar, which spiralls up toward the opponent, engulfing his body, restraining his movements.

Pros:
As usual, this one requires no weaving of handseals, so basically it's quite quick to perform. Range is pretty nice too, extends upto mid-range so quite nice for mid-ranged battles. Pretty effective in the NW imo, to restrain the opponent and interrogate him. Best used when followed up by Katon. The enemy is set on fire, as well as he can't move. Really great.

Cons:
Very easy to avoid this technique, by channeling Lightning towards the ground, or when engulfed by it, the opponent can harden his body to destroy the spiral pillar or use Nagashi to destroy the pillar quite easily. I think, an E-Rank tech like Kawarimi works here to substitute one's body with a small wood block just before being trapped.
