I make this suggestion as it seems like moderator's walls are constantly spammed with requests to edit/delete posts, rename/move/close threads, send old bio's through pm, and a host of other related tasks. Why not have a section specifically dedicated to posting these requests that all moderators can look at and address? This would free up moderator's walls allowing people that have questions more specific to a particular moderator to ask them with ease. This would also alleviate the issue of spamming several moderators to get a response because some are not online. By posting in this new section any moderator that is online at the time can look through these threads and work on requests as they see fit. If privacy is needed the section can be made like the "Q&A Accounts, Password resets" section where only moderators and the person creating a thread can see it.

I'm aware that posts have the report button on them, but I think this is underutilized by people. People tend to be drawn to what they can see with their eyes. Having a section like this in a blatantly obvious place on the forum would attract attention, and people would be inclined to post there instead of on moderator's (The people with colorful names) walls.

This is actually a good idea. Do you mean like a massive thread like scorps's?
Hmm...I think it would be better to have people post individual threads in a section, but that would be up to whoever implemented this. For something like this individual posts in one thread would get really crowded, IMO.

Now now, a whole section is a bit much as I'm pretty sure people are just gonna ask for things Like "change the name of this thread" and so on so A thread would in fact suffice.

basically with a template like this.

Link to thread:
Thread's New Name:
--
Link to thread:
What section to put the thread in:
---
Link to thread:
Close/Open said thread.

I guess it's not that bad since it will help the mods/admins to keep track of the requests more easily, but it's not worth it in my opinion.
Frankly, I can't understand those people that keep wanting this and that all the time from the admins/mods anyway.

I think those who do it will continue doing it even if there is/are such thread/s.

(the other day I saw on a mod's profile "Don't ask me for permission of any kind" and a little below this there was the VM that said "Can I have permission....blah blah ?" =D )

Good idea OP and I like Yang's idea too.... =D =D

I'd like to make a Suggestion.... We can have stickies in Q & A Section itself.

We have the Report Button Facility for Reporting rule breaking. We can have Stickies for specific purposes as follows -

1. Sticky for edits - In case the user wants to edit anything he/she posts in that Thread. Like Yang suggested the user must follow a Specific Format.

2. Sticky for RP Permissions - It can be made it Battle Tests Section or wherever RP Mods think it's suitable. I'm sure Mods don't like constantly being bugged by others for permission. I know Scorps has a sticky for Permission to which he regularly replies but many abilities/Bios require Permission of two Mods so If you make just one Permission Thread for RP then in case something requires permission of two Mods the First Mod to give permission quotes the user and says Approved. The second Mod can quote the user and the first Approval and say he too gives permission or Approves.
Of course the people who want to apply for permission for ability/Bio have to apply in some format prescribed by the Mods.

lol, there is no need for this. It's a good idea, but I don't think it will happen.
There is report button. A report button isn't used only for spam, you can also report your own threads and post your message there. I always do it like that if I want to edit the title, close the thread etc. so I'm not "spamming" a mod's wall and I won't be bothering him.

And if there is such a section, they would always have to check it and check every post there, that may be annoying for them and they might not see a post. Though, if you use the report button, the mods will always see it. If you use the report button, you don't spam their walls and most of the times it goes even faster than normal.
You can just write something like this in the report message:
Could this thread please be closed?
or
could this thread please be deleted?
etc..

I do see your point. However, that also assumes that most people use the report button for edits which I don't think is the case. I feel like if this was made and placed on the forum in a way that its position is blatantly obvious to anybody with eyes, that people would feel more inclined to post in there than on moderator's walls. People tend to be drawn to what their eyes see whether it's a colored name or a specific forum.

As far as checking it would be a cumbersome task, but with all mods having access to the section I think it could be done.

The report button is in the same position in every single forum. Once you get to know the report button for the first time, you'll love it.
There is absolutely no reason for the admins to make a seperate section and strain the servers/database/whatever even further, as long as the report button exists.

People would still spam the moderators profiles equally much, but it would be of the link to the thread in that section (esp if it's open to public). It would not help the moderators a single bit, as they already take notes and do their tasks as soon as they can. And as it's already mentioned, I'll just confirm it... this is exactly what the report button is for. When you report something it gets right into a section for the moderator that states who it is for and who should handle it and what not. Thanks for the suggestion however, I believe we already have it.
