I'm watching the current bleach filler arc as its released, but I've skipped a few arcs in the past, namely the bount arc, and maybe a few others, but anyone know anything more about Mod Souls having Zanpakto is it normal?

only if they have soul reaper powers. and no, its not normal. so far, as far as im aware, mod souls have only the powers that theyre created with and these tend to be standalone and nothing to do with soul reaper power. honestly, they do all kinds of silly things in the bleach filler so im not surprised.

bount arc was kind of boring for how long it was but i'm liking this arc (captain vs captain battles 
) and kon and a couple others are the only mod souls we've seen in the canon but they've only had modified powers like Kon has really powerful legs, none of them have had zanpakto, the reigei do because they are exact copies (with power-ups) of shinigami specially made by the villian.

She could well be the exception among Mod Souls.
Or her abilities were probably designed around your average Shinigami, which could explain the Zanpakto.
Nozomi is the first ever Mod Soul, so having a Zanpakto could be her ability.

Naomi(is that her name?) She just manifested her zanpakto in the last eps. Which is kinda wierd right? I'll agree this arc is pretty good imo, I like captain vs captain, and then captain vs their raigei, also it was pretty boss watching the head captain pull out his moves vs two and then three reigei.bount arc was kind of boring for how long it was but i'm liking this arc (captain vs captain battles
I guess it can be, I've searched for abilities that all mod souls have, but they don't all come stock abilities but instead are created with varies abilities, such as enhanced speed or strength. Kon has enhanced leg strength. I'm guessing Nozomi got shinigami abilities, because she can also use Kido.

Nozomi Kujo, and she did? i watch it off hulu so i just watched the episode where the real captains get owned by the new super powerful reigei and she says she was the first mod soul at the end.

dont read if you dont want a spoiler... but the cats kinda out of the bag anyhow.
Yeah she was protecting Kon in his doll form and something about a hollow and she materialized a zanpakto, and saved Kon, and he gave her a defective lion and she died it around it.

they have previews of the next episode at the end of each anyway so i knew she was going to get attacked by a hollow already but thats pretty cool, didn't they already think she was a shinigami before because she could use kido so the zanpakto thing isn't a huge suprise but still cool.

Mabey shes the other part to Kagerosa (sp?), or that dude he has locked up that hes all creepy with.

We still don´t know who´s that guy Kageroza talked to in that prison-like room...I think this filer arc is pretty good - the story is strong and the fights are still fun to watch. About the mod souls´ zampakutou,well they ARE reapers (even though synthetically made) after all so it´s logical that they have their own zampakutou. But it is possible,that only the few first ones made by Kageroza have zampakutou, the ones made later could be considered as threats with zampakutou, so the weapons were somehow removed in the process of their creation.

^ seems logical but thats why project spearhead was halted in the first place was be casue of the threat that they imposed to the soul society.I want to see a bunch of quincey mod souls lol there are not that many left right?

Yup,I´m curious too what is about to come. For example Kon´s secret powers!!!! ...On second thought,I dunno if Kon will have any or if they´ll be that awesome..and if he discovers his hidden power,he will have to lose them,cuz it wouldn´t really fit with the manga.... or Kubo has an evil plan for him,bwahahahaha (crossed arms x3).
Still,it´s kinda early to come to the final conclusions because we still miss a lot of info about for example the guy Ichigo saw or what´s with the captains who seem to be beaten,etc,etc....

Let me guess,you don´t really know Bleach that much (or don´t understand it that much) even though you´re watching it....?
Please,every filer does make sense. If you refer to Karakura heroes and Don Kanonji stuff,that was pretty...how to describe it...well meant to be funny and they didn´t have a strong storyline. As for filers now,they are one of the bests (the Zampakutou arc is on the 1st place for me) - good storyline,tense and most of all making sense. If you´ve seen only the Bounts,that´s a pity - that was quite boring but it still did make sense. If you don´t understand something specifically,please tell us. If you´re just killing time by posting irrational sentences,sorry I took it seriously.

Now thats not what i meant, what i meant was it doesnt connect with the real story in anyway wat so ever, Atleast in Naruto and One piece the Fillers seem to match with the Basic story in some why even though their not but the one for Bleach are Ridiculous and random

So what? The movies don´t fit in the main story and only because of that you will just dislike them? Man,One Piece filers don´t fit in the story either...how abou the Edo section in Enies Lobby arc? That didn´t fit in that much. Bleach filers are the same only a bit longer because Bleach manga comes out more slowly and the story isn´t developing that fast so they it has to gain some time somehow.
